The next morning, I woke up at seven, threw on my pajamas, and went in the kitchen to cook breakfast. Last night, I thought since I am now a married woman, that I should start doing wifely duties when I am not doing schoolwork, like cooking breakfast. So, I made cheesy scrambled eggs, white chocolate chip waffles, sausages, and bacon; then, woke everyone up when I was done.
"This is really good, Hales!" Rain replied, wolfing down a waffle. "I just wish you woke me up to help."
"It's no problem! I'm glad to do it."
Jake kissed my forehead. "Thank you for the breakfast, baby! This was very thoughtful!"
I just kissed him back and continued eating.
Two hours later, I was finishing my shower when I heard Jana, Ryan, and Austin in the living room, so I rinsed off thoroughly, put on my bathrobe, and went to see what going on.
"Hey, y'all!" I asked. "What's up?"
Jana instantly put her hand on my shoulder and led me to my room. "Austin's boss wants to meet with him today instead of Monday and I want you to hang out at my house with me and the other chickadees. Cool?"
"Sure. Can Rain come if she wants?"
Before she could reply, Rain bumped my door. "Not interested, thank you!"
"Okay." I simply said and got dressed.
Jake went with Austin and Ryan to Kosciusko while I went with Jana to her place in Nanih Waiya, which was huge. It was a two story house with a balcony on the first and second floors, beautiful exterior, and has a basement and attic. It was also on an enormous amount of land and had a lake in the back with a gazebo in the middle with walkways on four sides of it. It also had flower, fruit, and vegetable gardens on the left side and fruit trees on both sides and it had a greenhouse on the right where she plants the rest of her flowers.
"How do you keep this mowed?" I asked. "This is gigantic!"
"Two riding lawn mowers."
When I entered the house, I was double flabbergasted. The floors were marble and the living room was large and exquisite. The couches and love seats were white and leather, the coffee table was made of glass and incredibly shiny, the television and DVD and Blu-ray player was embedded into the wall, and the fireplace looked like it was already new.
Next, we went into her kitchen, which was like a five star restaurant. It had four ovens implanted in one wall, a massive fridge on the other one, a walk-in freezer, granite countertops and cabinets, a stove, sink, and dishwasher in the center of the room, and a dining room adjacent to the kitchen.
Then, she showed me her study, which had two desks with a laptop and printer on each of them. It also had bookshelves with countless books, journals of Jana's writings, and drawing books consisting of Ryan's artwork. Furthermore, it had a couch and two lounge chairs, possibly for relaxation purposes, and it contained two end tables with glass bowls full of Hershey kisses and Reese's.
She also had a home gym equipped with two sets of treadmills, dumbbell sets, bench-presses, stair steppers, floor mats, and equipment designed for yoga, zumba, and pilates.
I stared at her for a moment, then asked. "May I use your gym whenever I want to work out?"
Nodding, she handed me a key. "Feel free to eat when you're hungry, too. Drink before and after a workout. I mean it!"
