It was Monday...dreadful but that didn't stop me since I was going to see my best friend and the boys. Now our school changed to where instead of having homeroom every morning, we have a free period where we basically can chill anywhere on campus for an hour. The boys decided to chill on the bleachers along with me and Yumi. While Yumi and I were talking to the boys, Jaebum whispers to Jackson,

"Can I talk to you for a minute?"

"Yeah bro" so they both walked behind the bleachers, "What's up?"

"I'm calling off the bet"

"Why?"

"I don't think this is right..."

"No....no we made a bet...and you're not forfeiting"

"Yah! Listen to yourself! Look, Camarin is a nice and sweet girl and I don't want to hurt her feelings and use her and besides, what if she finds out what we're doing?" and Jackson puts his arm around Jaebum's shoulder.

"She's not gonna find out...trust me" then Jaebum takes Jackson's arm off his shoulder and thought about it for a while.

"*sigh* Fine..." "But sooner or later you're gonna gain feelings for her and it'll be too late and she'll end up with one of us..."

"Pfft! There's no way I'm gonna gain feelings for her" and Jaebum just gave him the 'yeah right' look and says,

"Look, I'm still in this bet alright but all I'm saying is that you're fucked once Camarin finds out and what IF you started liking her?" and with those words Jaebum left and left Jackson thinking for a bit but he shook it off and still believed that he would not fall for Camarin. He went back up to the bleachers until the bell rung signaling that their free period was over.

When I got off the bleachers, I felt someone grab my wrist. I turned and it was Jackson; my heart started racing.

"Hey Camarin"

"H-hey" I said, voice kind of shaky, "What's up?"

"I was wondering if you would like to hang out with me after school?"

'Did he just ask me out?' I thought.

'Why did I just ask her out?' Jackson thought, mentally slapping himself.

"I-I would love to!" I said smiling. He smiled back at me and said,

"Okay, see you in class" he said with his husky voice.

"O-okay" my heart was still racing. I couldn't believe that Jackson actually asked me out, "I wonder where he's taking me" with that being said, I went to my English class. Once my English class was over, as always, Mark was waiting for me; it was like his routine.

"How was English?"

"Boring...as usual" Mark chuckles as he wraps his arm around my shoulder.

"I know...but you'll be done with that class in no time" Mark walks with me to our next class which was Geometry. Mark actually dreaded it being in that class because of Jackson. We walked in the class and I immediately smiled when I saw Jackson. Jackson saw me and he smiled back at me. I walked over to mine and Jackson's shared desk and sat in my seat. He was still being his usual cold self and texting other girls and class has already started. That was a pet peeve of mine and so I lightly hit his bicep which was a lot more toned than before. He glares up at me and I said,

"Don't you ever stop texting in class?" he just kept glaring at me and then he scoffed at me and continued texting.

"Aish...such a jerk" I said low, "but you are the one who asked me out..." I mumbled under my breath. When Jackson heard that, his expression softened for some reason and he stops texting but he doesn't know why he did it. He turns and he places his hand on mine and I looked at him.
