When those two pairs of eyes collided
And rested upon each other,
His were brimming with endearment
And hers were no less than a lover.

There was an inaudible outcry of attachment
But 'twas unknown to the two,
Who talked like just friends,
Smiled and quietly bid adieu.

Each of the two wanted to initiate,
To convey untold words of love.
And both anticipated,
To let the silence soar above.

The silence could try to speak but 'twas forced not to,
For bewilderment and the fear of a 'No'.
Instead it uttered into their ears
And urged them to let go.

Yes, they let each other go,
To see them both happy.
But still there was that cry inside them,
Of that inaudibility.

If only they understood that arcanity...
