Today was the day that I was leaving to go back to the States. My time here at Bright Fields was amazing. An experience I will never forget but sadly it had to come to an end. I had already rode Raven for the last time and was just brushing him down. Talking with him and comforting him. He knew that I was leaving. I could tell.

'We'll take care of him for you.' A voice said. 'And Luna.'

I turned around and saw Pin, Marcus, Becky and Jade standing watching me.
'I know you will. It's just hard to leave everything behind when I've gotten so used to it.'

'Don't worry. Our friendship will always stay strong.' Jade smiled as she and Becky walked up to me to hug me. I smiled. Marcus approached me and gave me a small hug.

'I was rooting for you and you-know-who.' Marcus said.

'And I was rooting for you and Zoe.' I laughed.

'We'll miss you.' He told me before walking away with Becky and Jade leaving Pin standing there.

'Raven will be here when you get back.' Pin said, walking towards me.

'Will you?' I asked.

'Of course. I'll always be waiting for you. My Juliet.' Pin smirked.

'That's good to know, my Romeo.' I replied.
'I'll come back to you. I know I will.'

Pin stepped forward and lent towards me. I lent forward too, letting our lips connect. We stayed like that for a couple of seconds before we separated and started to head to the car. As we were walking over to the small group that were by the car, a truck with a trailer attached to it pulled up into the stables. We were all confused as we've never seen this truck before. The driver stepped out and opened the back door where a lady in very posh clothing stepped out.

'There she is. Load her up.' The lady told the driver when she saw Luna. 'Find the other one too.'

'Wait. No.' Zoe muttered.

'You can't take him. I'm in charge here at the moment—.' Marcus began.

'I'm Meredith Moore, and this is my horse as well as her brother. They're papers.' She pulled out pieces of paper from her bag.
'They were stolen as foals, and I've been searching for them for four years.'

'It's all here.' Marcus told us. 'Passports, documents....'

Another man walked round with Raven on a lead rope and stood him next to Luna.

'What. No.' I said.

'That's right. These horses is of royal bloodline. They're mother was Ruby Dawn.'

'She was a world-famous racehorse.' Jade said. I took the papers that Zoe handed me and scanned them.

'She literally won every race that was ever raced ever.' Becky exclaimed.

'I knew Raven and Luna were special.' Jade muttered.

'His name isn't Raven. It's Midnight Blue. And her name isn't Luna. It's Moonlight.'

'Don't worry, my middle name's Lavinia.' Becky told the two horses.

'What's the hold up here?' The women shouted.
'Just get him in the trailer.'

'But he's just settled. He's happy here.' Jade shouted.

'Wait, no. Mom.' I yelled.

'She's taking them.' Zoe said.

'If she owns them, darlings, she has a right to take them home.' Mom told us.

'What if we never see them again?' I asked. Raven and Luna both started making a fuss, which made it difficult for the two men to get them in the trailer.

'Young lady's. I'd appreciate a little help.' Meredith told us.

'Why would I help you? You're standing there all smug when you're literally ruining their lives.' I shouted.

'Aubrey!' Dad yelled.

'What!?'

'Do the right thing.' Mom told me and Zoe.

'Aubrey, don't.' Pin grabbed my arm.

'There's nothing I can do.' I answered. Moving from his grip and over to Raven whilst Zoe went to Luna.

'Raven. Raven. Hey, it's okay. It's fine.' I soothes him. The man handed me
the rope so I could guide him in.
'Relax. You're fine. You're alright. It's gonna be fine. You'll be okay. I love you but you need to go with these guys, okay? Come on.' I walked him into the trailer and closed the barrier so he didn't move anywhere and hurt himself.
'Goodbye Raven. I'm gonna miss you, so, so, much. I love you. Please don't forget me.' I cried. I left a kiss on his nose before saying my final goodbye and leaving the trailer. I wiped my eyes as I walked to the car.

You could hear Raven stressing. His hooves stomping on the ground and his whinnying. It made me even more upset knowing that he wasn't okay yet I could do nothing about it. Mom and Gramps reassured me and Zoe that everything would be okay but it wouldn't. I'm leaving Raven. Zoe's leaving Luna. They bursted into our life out of nowhere. I care about Raven. I'm leaving Pin too. He's different from the boys you usually would meet. He cares about the little things. He stole sedatives to help a sick pony get back on it's feet. He rescued Raven for me. I don't know what I'd do without him. Pin and Raven were my anchors. And now they're gone. It's like I have to forget about them. But I can't.

I looked over at Zoe and we gave each other a look that we couldn't leave them. I couldn't leave Pin and Raven. She couldn't leave Marcus and Luna.

'Stop the car.' I yelled. Mom abruptly stopped the car and Zoe opened the door so we could both jump out. Me and Zoe started running back to the stables. Rosie's yells at us didn't mean anything. We just cared about our anchors and that was it. I acted about Raven and my Romeo. As we were running we saw Raven and Luna galloping out of the stables towards us. Like they were that day at the beach. The day they came into our lives. Raven stopped infront of me when I stopped running. I wrapped my arms around him and hugged him tightly.

'Hand them over.' Meredith told us.

'You can't take them. We won't let you.'

'How dare you tell me what to do with my horse?' Meredith looked very annoyed with me but to hell with her.

'You may own them, but you don't know them. Not like we do. And you definitely don't know what's best for them. They're not just some super valuable racehorses. They're frightened, messed up runaways, who's found a safe home and people who care about them. And you can't just waltz in here because you're this rich women who likes to show off and expect-' I ranted.

'Fine.' Meredith cut me off.

'Fine? What do you mean fine?' I asked.

'I'm no fool. I can see the bond that you two have with those horses. Someone's got to train these horses. I suppose it might as well be you two.' Meredith said.

'Wait. Okay, I didn't mean—.'

'We'll stable him here at Bright Fields, he'll need a lot of work, but you two have made an effective start, I'm sure we can bring him up to some kind of standard.' Meredith carried on.

'But we're flying back to the States today.' I said.

'Are you?'

'I'm done. I'm done. I give up. I'm leaving. I'm going back to LA.' Rosie yelled, walking back to the car. 'I'm done. Done, I said.'

Well, what do I do. Should I stay or should I go? Who am I kidding. I have to stay. Right?
