I woke up to a nice breeze flowing through my window. Ahhh. What a beautiful morning. The birds were chirping. The sun was beaming. I got out of bed and walked into the bathroom to take a shower.

Once that was done, I walked back in my room with my towel covering my body. Time to pick out a new outfit for the day. I picked a black tube top with a feathery bit a the top and white shorts with little frills at the bottom. I matched the outfit with black and white vans.

'Oh my god, sis. You look amazing. That top suits you so well.' Rosie said from the door.

'Awe, thanks Ro.' I smiled.
'You look amazing in that dress. I'm thinking pair it with pink jelly shoes.'

'Perfect!' She exclaimed.
'Can you help me find them!?'

'Sure.'

We spent a good 5 minutes looking for the shoes in her luggage so Rosie and me decided to check in Zoe's room. When we went in she was still asleep. I bent down and rumaged through the bag.

'Zoe, have you seen my jelly shoes?' Rosie asked still searching. That made her wake up.

'Oh. Here they are.' I said, pulling out the pair of shoes.

'Thanks, sis.' I smiled as run off. Before I could even say good morning to Zoe, I heard a voice say.
'Raven! Luna!'
Followed by a whip snapping. I looked at Zoe and jumped up from the floor to look out her window.

'What is he doing!?' Me and Zoe both said. He was holding two ropes attached to Raven and Luna whilst hitting them with a whip. I left Zoe to put her shoes on and went downstairs.

'So, will there be a Ferris wheel at this pier?' Rosie asked. Zoe had come down stairs and reached her denim over top aswell as passing me mine which is shorter then hers.

'No. If you're lucky we might have a go on a 2P slot machine.' Mom replied.

'Ah, can we-- can we meet you there? We've just seen someone outside. Someone we met yesterday. We just wanna make sure they're okay.' Zoe told Mom.

'A friend? We've only been here a day.' Mom said.

'Yeah. I'm suprised Zoe made a friend. Not for me though. I am the best at making friends.' I said, slipping my arms through the sleeves.
'Although I am suprised me and Zoe made the same friend. Anyways we met him while looking for Rosie.'

'Wait. "Him"?' Mom asked.

'Yeah. Bye.' I smiled before following Zoe out the door. We ran down the roads until we got to the same fence from yesterday.

'Your joking!? Under this. Again!' I moaned. Zoe gave me a look and I rolled my eyes before climbing under.

'Hey. Stop it!' Me and Zoe shouted climbing over the fence. I never thought. EVER. I would be this protective of a horse.

'Steady. Steady.' The boy shouted. Suddenly the rope's flew out of his grasp and he cut his hand. Raven and Luna ran to a corner. Then they started to trot towards us.

'Whoa. Whoa. Whoa. Steady.' The boy started saying.
Raven and Luna were getting faster.
'Whoa. Whoa. Steady. Steady.'

'Whoa. Whoa. Whoa.' Me and Zoe took a step back. Zoe focused on Luna and I focused on Raven.

'Raven, Raven, relax. Relax.' I said.
'Shh! Wait, wait, wait. We need to stop meeting in these situations. Come here. Come here. You're okay. That's it. There you go.' Raven inched closer towards me, calming himself down and relaxing. I stroked him.
'There you go. How ya doing? Shh, Shh.'

'What do you think you two are doing?' The boy asked.

'Right back at you. The way you had them on those ropes, you could tell they felt trapped.' Zoe said.

'He's got to know who's boss.' He said sternly.

'And I'm guessing that's you?' I asked.

'No room in a yard for a horse that can't be ridden.' We all started walking.
'Raven's on borrowed time as it is.'

'Look, we may not know much about horses-- .' Zoe started.

'That's right. You don't.' He replied, turning around to us. We stopped walking and looked eachother.

'No one. And I repeat no one talks to me and you that way.' I told her.
'Hey, moody horse boy, get back here.'

'You two came back!' Jade exclaimed as her and Becky walked to greet us. Jade grabbed Zoe's arm while I looped mine with her's. We walked past Raven's stable and I eyed Pin angrily as he did something to the wooden door. Becky grabbed my hand and walked beside me.

'There's so much to tell you.' She said.

'Speculative, made-up gossip, she means.' Jade added.

'It's not made up.' Becky insisted.

'Horse thieves are real.' She whispered.

'Horse thieves?' I questioned.

'Shh! You'll upset Bob. He's very sensitive.' A young boy around the same age as Rosie told us.

'Bob's your horse?' Zoe asked as she put her hand out to stroke him.

'I share him with my brother, Ben. Stunning, isn't he?' Becky said. We heard a fart come from Bob.

'Bob.' Jade laughs but turns and sees our faces as we were messing with her. 'That wasn't me.'
Me and Zoe put our hands up.

'Alright, gang. Listen up. So, Pony People magazine are visiting the yard today.' Sam said. Everyone clapped so I joined in not knowing what the big deal was.

'It's like Vogue for horses.' Becky tells me and Zoe.

'Horses can read?' I asked.

'This is our chance to let the stables shine to spread the word about Brightfields and bring lots and lots of new riders our way.' Sam carried on.
'Speaking of which, this is Aubrey and Zoe. They found Raven and Luna, so we owe them big time. Let's make them really welcome.'

Everyone cheered and clapped for us which made me smile and bow.

'If you can't find a chore that needs doing, just come and find Marcus or me.' Sam finished.

'Marcus is Sam's cousin.' Jade told us.

'He's the best rider in the yard.' Becky added.

'He's really nice.' Said Jade.

'And he's talented and handsome, and I love him.' Becky continued.

'Hey.' Marcus said.

'Hi.' Me and Zoe replied with a smile.
Becky started freaking out.

'We gotta go.' Zoe said.

'Wait. Where are you going?' Jade asked.

'We're supposed to meet up with our mom.' I told them.

'But you can't leave.' Becky said, grabbing my arm.
'You just got here. Plus, I can't carry the hay bales on my own. Come on.'
I can't believe I agreed.

'So, Vogue, huh. I wanna get on the human vogue as Zoe says I look like a model.' I told them, heading off further into the stables.
