Job Interview

I woke up the next morning to my phone ringing. I jump out of bed and answer it excitedly, hoping it's the job that I filled out yesterday.

I answer the phone and say "Hello"a girl goes "Hello, my name is Melanie, and I'm just calling you about the job that you applied for yesterday."

I jump up and down. I'm so excited.

I hear the Melanie lady say "Hello? Miss, are you still there?" and I answered back to her and said "Yes, I'm still here." She asked me if I could come in for an interview at Costa Enterprises.

We get off the phone.

I run to the living room and tell Kali I got a job interview at Costa Enterprises. I have to be there by 10:30 a.m.

After I went and told Kali about the interview I ran to the shower to wash up beforehand. After I got out, I put the on nicest clothes I have.

I ran back to the living. I'm so excited.

Kali gave me a ride and dropped me off, wishing me luck.

I walk in the building and see a lady standing there. I look at her for a little while. Darn she's pretty. I'm kinda jealous.

She walks over to me.

"Hello, my name is Leilani. welcome to Costa Enterprises. How may I help you?"

I looked at her and told her I have a interview at 10:30.

She pointed me over to the receptionist.

Soon after, I walked up I heard that sweet voice that I heard on the phone about an hour or so ago.

All of a sudden I hear "Hello? Hello Miss. Welcome to Costa Enterprises. My name is Melanie.

"Oh yes, I'm sorry I was in my own world for a minute this place looks amazing."

She giggled "So what are you here for?"

"I'm here for an interview."

"Oh yes, you must be Berlin Jones." she said.

I looked at her and say "Yes I am."

She looked at me and said, "Go down the hall and take the last elevator on the left. That will take you to the 25th floor."

I nod and start my way to the elevator.

Oh my gosh, I'm shaking. This is the most I have done my whole life. This is all so new to me.

I got up to the elevator and push the button and wait for the doors to open. After a few seconds I take a step into the elevator.

Okay, so I guess I have some time before I get to the 25th floor.

I breath to calm myself down.

I give myself a bit of a pep talk.

I tell myself "You got this. You can do it."

"Don't be scared."

"You're strong. Show your strength and confidence."

Before I know it, the elevator doors open

I go to step out of the elevator to head to my interview and my jaw drops. I see the most handsome guy I've ever seen in my life.
