One Step At A Time

I get out of bed after talking to myself for a good 35 minutes. Ugh, tbh I think I'm going nuts, haha, wouldn't surprise me, if I'm honest.

Now, today is a new day where I start my new life without those horrible people I call my father and sister.

I can finally move on but, as I sit here thinking to myself, I need to learn how to be an adult because, In the reality I lived in, I was treated like a child my whole life. Let's hope I can do this.

I need to do this.

I need to make myself strong, especially strong enough to my shit together.

I need to believe in myself even though that's a pretty big thing to do but I need to it well and to be honest, there's a lot of things I need to do and all of that is going to start today.

Hello new day, new me.

I get up and go down stairs. I see Kali sitting on the couch.

Okay, this is time so I ask her if there is anywhere I can go buy clothes at hoping she won't ask any questions to why I'm asking.

She looks at me and says "Yeah, let's go to the mall."

I say "Okay" as she grabs her keys and we head out the door. On the way to the mall, I start to panic. I've never been in a car before, besides ever going to the mall before.

I've never had any friends to do this with so to be honest, to me, this is kinda scary.

But really, I gotta get things done no matter how scary it might be. I need do this.

So, we get to the mall and I'm in awe. I've never been here before.

Let's see what I can find.

We walk into the mall and my eyes light up. Oh my God this place is a dream land.

I hear something beside me so I looked, Oh it was kali. I was so mesmerized I forgot she was there.

But I quickly came back to it and followed her into one of the stores.

She looks at and says "Wait here, I'm going to pick you out three outfits."

I nod as she walks away from me.

About 15 to 20 minutes later, she comes walking back over with three beautiful outfits The first out was a pair of ripped jeans with a cute crop top.

Second outfit was a beautiful purple dress with blacks and blues added in.

The third outfit was a pair of leggings and a pretty pink strapless top and yes, we got shoes for all three outfits.

Can't get clothes without shoes right?.
