Getting My Stuff Together

So anyways, afterwards we went up to pay for the outfits and shoes.

Then stopped at few more places after we were all done shopping. We went to this nice little cafe for lunch. To be honest, I feel I like ordered half the menu.

But really, I think I did.

I haven't eaten in months due to daddy not wanting to feed me.

Our food came to the table. After we ate, we left and went back to her house.

Kali turned around and asked me "When do you want me to take you home?"

I just looked at her. I knew, this time would come when I'd have to tell her everything.

So I did. I told her everything about my life.

Told her the reason as to why I was out that night. That I escaped from my abusive father and sister.

She looked at me in disbelief and couldn't believe everything I just told her.

I could tell she wanted to get up and hug me but, I kind of hoped she didn't.

To my surprise, we sat there in silence. You can tell she was sitting there taking everything in by every detail that was just said.

I could see the tears in her eyes. I never wanted to tell anybody but I knew I had to at some point, especially since I've been here for 3 days. I knew she'd wonder why I haven't asked her to take me home.

So she told me I could stay with her. Since I was 18, I could basically do what I want.

We talked for awhile as she was trying to forget everything she just heard, which I was trying to forget myself.

Afterwards, I took all my new stuff to the room I was staying in and put everything away in the closet she said I could use.

I'm glad I got to go shopping. I got myself a nice laptop, nice clothes, shoes, makeup and even stuff to start doing my hair.

So, now I sit on the bed and open up the laptop and I turn it on.

Now, it's time to look for a job. Hopefully, I can find a good one.

I connected the laptop to the internet to look for jobs.

I got on this job website that I found, and I started scrolling down. I ended up finding a nice office job so I applied for it so fingers crossed. Wish me luck.

After I was done, I went to the kitchen as I could smell dinner cooking. I told Kali about the job that I applied for she said "I hope you get it" I said "Me too."

After we got done eating, we sat in the living room and watched a movie on Disney Plus. After it was over, I went to go lay down to go to sleep, hoping I'd wake up to a phone call.

I told myself fingers crossed and drifted to sleep to start a new day.
