Chapter 14: Caught

Sam could hear Dean yelling for him repeatedly. Opening his eyes he could see Dean over him looking terrified until Sam opened his eyes. A look of relief passed over Dean's face. Then the ringing in Sam's ears stopped and sound started coming out of Dean's mouth.

"Oh thank you Sammy. I thought I lost you." Dean said pulling the bigger Winchester to his chest.

"She's gone." Bobby's voice came from behind Dean.

"Bobby?" Sam asked.

"I'm here boy." Bobby said gruffly.

"Tyler." Sam said suddenly looking for the missing face. "Where's Tyler, Dean?" Sam asked his brother.

"I'm okay. Thanks for asking Sammy." Dean snorted.

"Sorry, sorry Dean. But she was up there when..." Sam felt a wave of dizziness hit.

"Come on Sammy, take it easy. I'm sure Tyler's fine." Dean hushed his brother and got him up leading him to the couch.

"What the hell happened up there Sam?" Bobby asked handing Sam a glass of water.

"Tyler, was-" Sam stopped. He'd taken a good knock to the head this time. "I took off Tyler's bandage and she could see. Rushed out and was blindsided by the light. I walked out and she shoved me down the stairs as I heard glass breaking." Dean looked at Bobby clearly worried.

"Yeah. We saw a flash and then you came tumbling down the stairs pieces of glass tumbling down after you along with a couple shards of wood." Bobby told him.

"I rushed over to you and Bobby went up for Tyler." Dean said.

"By the time I got up there she was gone but she left a mess. You weren't out long." Bobby finished. Sam put his hand up to his head and felt around for the bump wincing when he felt it on his skull. "I'm afraid you took a tumble."

"Flies to honey..." Sam said sitting up suddenly. His vision flickered but he realized what Tyler was trying to tell him.

"Are you sure he's okay Bobby?" Dean asked looking at Sam closer.

"Tyler, flies to honey, she said she couldn't lead them here." Sam said trying to explain while standing up.

"Dude, just sit and tell us." Dean said halfway out of his chair, ready to go catch his brother if he needed it.

"Before she was taken she was telling me that she had to go because whatever was chasing her would be drawn to her like flies to honey and that she had to go." Sam explained as quickly as he could.

"Damnit." Bobby swore.

"What's going on?" Dean asked the older hunter who clearly knew what was going on.

"There were signs of a flash bomb used up there. Meaning hunters took her and god knows what they're doing to her." Bobby said sourly.

"Do other hunters know she's part angel?" Sam asked the pain already fading to the back of his mind.

"I don't think they know she's part angel but I'm fairly certain they know she's not human." Bobby sighed running a hand over his face.

"Great." Dean sighed. "Roadhouse?"

"It's a place to start." Bobby nodded.

"Can't we just call Ellen or Jo?" Sam asked.

"That's what I was planning on doing." Bobby said looking at Sam critically. "You sure you're okay boy?"

"I'm fine Bobby." Sam sighed but didn't get up. Dean snorted but stayed there letting Bobby make the call. The phone rang and Ellen picked up.

"What can I do for you Bobby Singer?" Ellen asked seeing the caller ID.

"We've run into a bit a situation and I need some help locating some hunters." Bobby told her.

"You got a name?" Ellen asked him. In the background Bobby could hear hunters calling out for drinks.

"No, I got a hunt they were on." Bobby said.

"What's going on Bobby?" Ellen said the sounds of the bar fading as Ellen got serious.

"You remember Tyler?" Bobby asked her. Sam and Dean were listening but it was a one sided conversation for them.

"Frost?" Ellen asked.

"That's the one."

"Fabulous hunter. Scary as hell. Kinda quiet but has a good head on her shoulders. Yeah, she's leaves an impression that you don't quickly forget." Ellen chuckled.

"Sounds like our girl. Anyway she's been abducted by hunters. She's not completely human but she's sworn off using her powers." Bobby explained.

"Alright, so why did the hunters take her?" Ellen asked confused.

"I don't know. I know she's been on the run for ages but I didn't realize it was this bad." Bobby sighed.

"Bobby, she seemed like a good kid but if she's not human then you know how it goes." Ellen said.

"No, Ellen, she's got a complicated past-"

"Don't we all?"

"Her more than most. She's part angel Ellen." Silence met Bobby on the other end. "Ellen?"

"You said angel?" Ellen asked.

"Yup." Bobby answered simply.

"What'd you need?" Ellen asked again.

"Information on some hunters. If anybody has come in bragging about bagging something big or mentioned tracking her." Bobby sighed.

"Mom?" Jo called from the back door of the roadhouse.

"Hold on Bobby. What is it Jo?" Ellen called.

"There's some hunters who are here for Ash. Say they have something they need help killing." Jo said. Ellen got a sick feeling in the pit of her stomach.

"I think I found her Bobby. You boys better get down here. If the others hear about this then she's in deep trouble."

"We're on our way Ellen. She's important. See if you can keep her alive." Bobby said pointing Sam and Dean towards the door. Dean got the message and started for the impala Sam not far behind his headache already fading.

"I'll do what I can but no promises Bobby." Ellen said and hung up. "Jo, those hunters have a friend of Bobby's. I don't have time to explain now but-"

"Stall them and see if I can keep her safe. Got it mom." Jo said and disappeared back into the bar. Ellen smiled at her daughter and then followed. Ellen walked in and Creedy was talking to Ash. Creedy was almost as bad as Gordon had been but worse because he thought he was doing God's work.

"Look it's not vulnerable to silver or holy water. I've tried fire but it just broke free and tried to run." Creedy was saying.

"Are you sure it's not human?" Ash asked.

"I saw it! It sprouted black and white wings! That isn't human. I need a way to kill it and make sure it's dead." Creedy said.

"Why don't I give you some help?" Ellen said smiling at the insane hunter. "Let take a look and see what I can do."

"Alright. Come on, it's in my RV." Creedy said. Ellen followed him out of the bar towards the RV that was parked a little away from the other hunter's vehicles. He opened the door and lead Ellen inside. He took her back to where the bedroom was and behind a door in the bedroom Creedy revealed a prison. Iron bars where Tyler was hanging in chains. She raised her head when Creedy opened the door. She had a gag in her mouth but she radiated power and right now anger.
