(This episode takes place during 'I Was A Teenage Abomination'. Lena decides to homeschool herself so she can learn how to control her new powers.)
[Open to the Owl House where we see Lena outside trying to control her new powers]
Lena: Okay. Here goes!
[Lena got started by relaxing her mind causing her hands to glow. She kept her focus as her powers grew a silver flower.]
Lena: Did I do it?
[Lena stopped and checked on the ground to see the silver flower.]
Lena: Yes! I did it!
[Little did she know that Hooty was watching her.]
Hooty: She's starting to get the hang of it.
[Lena heard Hooty's voice.]
Lena: Oh. Hooty. You startled me.
Hooty: Sorry Lena. How are your powers coming along?
Lena: They're coming along good. I'm taking one step at a time so I don't lose control.
Hooty: Why?
Lena: Too much magic could be dangerous if you don't know how to control it.
-Theme Song-
[The scene cuts to Lena in the living room as she tells Hooty that her magic is different.]
Hooty: What do you mean your magic is different?!
Lena: I mean really! I'm like the first human to earn magic!
Hooty: You have no magic in your realm?
Lena: Back in my realm, we have magicians. But, I don't like magicians because of their tricks. I always point them out easily.
Hooty: Hoot! Oh my.
Lena: But, still. There has to be more to my magic than that.
Hooty: You're right!
[Then, Hooty sees Lena thinking about something else.]
Hooty: What else is on your mind?
Lena: Well, I'm still thinking about who the golden stranger is and why he gave me the advice I needed the other day.
Hooty: Hoot! Did you get his name?
Lena: No. I never did. I was so focused on the advice he gave me, I didn't ask his name.
Hooty: Hoot! Well, are you thinking that you'll see him again?
Lena: I don't know.
[Lena flashbacks to the day she got the advice.]
Lena: What do I do now?
[Lena started to shed tears until she heard a voice that caught her attention.]
???: Rough day. Huh?
[Lena turned to see a golden stranger inside her and Luz's room.]
Lena: Yes.
???: What's the matter there? Everything okay?
Lena: I'm not okay. My sister and I met some sort of wizard who said we were the chosen ones. But, my mind started to shake like crazy!
???: Why?
Lena: I don't know.
???: Are you sure you don't know?
Lena: Yes.
???: Let me tell you something.
Lena: Okay.
[The golden stranger and Lena sat down on her bed.]
???: Once, I saw a old woman offering customers potions. But, she turned out to be an evil troll in disguise and the potions had poison in them.
Lena: Whoa! She was disguised!
???: She was. That day, I learned a lesson. People aren't always what they seem. That's why you need to be careful and trust your instincts no matter how many people don't believe you.
[Lena was warmly touched as we go to a commercial.]
Lena: [v.o] I was warmly touched by his words because no one has ever given me advice like this before.
Hooty: [v.o] Hoot. That was very thoughtful of him.
Lena: [v.o] Back to the topic. When he said those words, I began to think about it.
???: You said your mind was shaking like crazy, right?
Lena: Yes. That's true and I'm scared of anything bad happening to my sister.
???: Then, you gotta do something about it and save your sister before it's too late.
Lena: You're right!
???: Very good. Now, I have to go. Until we meet again, bye!
[The golden stranger got on his staff and disappeared.]
Lena: Who was he?
[Flashback ends.]
Lena: And that's how it happened.
Hooty: Hoot!
[Suddenly, Hooty came out the door.]
Hooty: Password please.
[Eda pressed his eyes.]
Hooty: Ow!
Eda: There is no password! Let us in!
Hooty: Okay. Okay!
[The door opened and Lena saw Luz, Eda, King, and two other witches heading inside and was startled when the door slammed shut.]
Lena: What's the big idea here?!
[Luz explained everything.]
Lena: I told you this was a bad idea that literally BLEW UP in your face! Who are those two?
Luz: These two are Gus and Willow.
Gus: Hi.
Willow: Hello.
Lena: Hi.
King: Did you practice your powers while we were away?
Lena: Yes. I grew a silver flower.
Eda: We saw. Great job!
Gus: Well, we came here to hide.
Willow: Also, help you and Luz train to become witches.
Luz: That's really nice. But, we have a teacher already.
Eda: Yeah, that's right. Luz and Lena are my students. [Steals the poster.]
Lena: What is that?
Eda: Ah, Your sister's first wanted poster.
Lena: WHAT?!
Eda: Good job, Luz. [Pats the top of her head.] Looks like I taught you something after all.
Gus: Uh, you high five with your hands, not your head.
[Confused on what she heard, ending the episode while Lena was thinking about something.]
