Journal Title: That's a dumb idea

October 5th

As soon as we were back at the Nakano place, I called a vertibird... Because the second we were in range of the tower for our two-way communication, my pipboys radio stations was overloaded with private broadcasts from...everyone. Maxson, Ingram, Danse, Preston/piper. Everyone....opps

The caption of the bird dropped John and Nick off at GoodNeighbor and took me to the prydwin where Maxson was waiting for me(John said he'd let everyone know all was fine and explain we were just on a job out of town)

The ear full the Elder gave me, Jesus. He thought I went AWOL or that I had tried "it" again. Threatened to put me on bench rest and suicide watch again. He finally relaxed a little when I explained the reason for my long absence and the radio silence. I was to report at once to Ingram because she had an important job for me, and he didn't trust anyone but me and Danse to do it. Grab Danse, talk to Ingram. Got it.

Update: Danse damn near tackled me in a hug but quickly composed himself when he realized other brothers and sisters were watching( can't let those below you know you have feelings, can we? aha)

The job is....stupid and dangerous, to say the least. See, when I've had time(before we left for Far harbour), I've been helping her build this giant ass robot(really, I just fetch shit because I don't know how to make a damn robot). However, I and the other brothers and sisters who are not "for Maxson" have been trying to slow things down. But I guess it's finally to the point where we need to arm the thing...With fucking nukes...not these little fat mans that fit in your hand and can only blow up a single building. Oh no, I'm talking about the world ending nukes. And guess where she wants us to go?? The Glowing Sea.

Maxson and Kells, I guess, have been on edge since what happened to me, which is fine. But I really don't want to go back to the glowing Sea. Despite being careful, hoping to slow the process, it's totally taken over my eye. The white has now been replaced by the empty black galaxies, and the green is gone as well, leaving me with this cold steel grey for an iris. Thankfully only one other burn has shown up, but that's on my left leg.

I can hide the two burns but my eye? No, I pretty much live in my power armor around the prydwin now. I know many of my friends here wouldn't care, but there are still some who 100% support Maxson and would report me if they found out.

Going to the Sea could mean more burns; it might be the last straw that costs me my voice, and that would be impossible to hide. If I tried to simply say I was sick, I'd just get sent to the dr (honestly, I'm surprised the radstorm sex didn't cost me my voice, but I'm sure it's what caused the second burn. I'm supposed to avoid excess radiation, but the storms feel nice, and honestly, they give off fewer rads than a radiation barrel)

I know if I refuse because of "safety", it will not only piss Maxson off, but it will also just cause him to send someone else who WOULD be at risk. FUCKITY FUCK FUCK. Okay...I'm going to leave danse at my place and take valentine and John. The fewer people at risk, the better
