Demon Princess' Love Crisis(Fem!Sonadow)

Last summer day.

"Summer went by too quickly!" A blue hedgehog groaned, throwing her pillow against the nearest wall. The ebony hedgehog below her chuckled, then nodded her head.

"As much as your tantrums are funny, I do have to agree. But this summer was really fun." The ebony said with a fondly sigh. Spending the whole entire summer with her crush was a dream come true for her. Her daydreaming was cut short as the blue hedgehog landed on her, having the stupid smirk the ebony came to love.

"Well duh! You were with, me! The most coolest hedgehog on Mobius." The blue blur began to gloat, then chuckled a little, humbling herself quickly. "And because we're besties." The quick humbling made Shadow giggle, thinking Sonic was so cute when she did that. That's when the ebony sported a smirk of her own.

"Coolest? I think you have competition there Baby Blue~." Shadow cooed with her smirk still plastered on her muzzle, it widened ever so slightly as she watched her best friend's face go red from the nickname. Sonic started to incoherently stutter, trying to come up with something to make her ebony crush embarrassed like her. It took the blur a moment but then an idea hit her. She calmed herself down and cleared her throat, putting on a smirk of her own.

"Well if you want to play that game, my little onyx gem- Wait..." Sonic started, then cut herself off with a huff. "That wasn't romantic at all!" The blur hissed, throwing her hands up in frustration. Shadow chuckled again as her best friend threw another short tantrum. They both know how hard it is to fluster Shadow and it always annoyed Sonic, as it ment she couldn't get her revenge whenever she teased her.

Yet again, Sonic knew she was shit at romance and flirting.

"Girls! Come to the kitchen, breakfast is ready!" An elder woman's voice called from the bottom of the stairs. It was the Queen's voice, Sonic's mother, Aleena.

"Coming mom!" Sonic shouted back, as her and Shadow scrambled to get up, but slammed right into each other in the process, their heads colliding with an audible bonk.

That was gonna leave a bump.

"Ya damn hard-head!" Sonic hissed, rubbing where their skulls connected. Shadow huffed, rubbing her head as well as they stood back up.

"You're the hard-head here! You sent me back on my ass!" The ebony huffed, fixing her quills. The girls glared at each other for almost a minute before breaking out into laughter. They could never stay mad at each other for more than a minute.

"Race you to the kitchen. That is if you can remember where it is in this big castel~?" Sonic purred, teasing her friend. That just made the ebony snicker, a plan already forming in her head.

"Alright. You're on, blue beauty~." Shadow teased back, snickering then took off as she left behind a stuttering and flustered Sonic.

"Y-YOU CHEATER!" Sonic shouted to Shadow and races after her. Shadow's ear twitched and chuckled, she leaned against the doorframe to the kitchen where Sonic's family sat with the staff of the mansion for breakfast, even the chefs was sat at the table. Shadow knew the king ang queen were nice people, but this was kindness on a whole knew lever from what she thought. They'd let their servants and staff step away from their duties to eat with them. Shadow's thoughts were interrupted by the voice of a young man, the same age as her and Sonic.

"The hell did you do this time to win?" A pale lilac armadillo asked, leaning back in his seat and looked over at the ebony hedgehog. This was Zephaniah the Armadillo, another one of Sonic's best friends, he's been friends with the blue blur longer than Shadow.

"Bit of teasing." Is all the ebony hedgehog had to say before the armadillo started laughing. He knew about his best friend's crush on Shadow so it made it all the more hilarious to him. He wished he was there to see the look on the princess' face. The queen also giggled slightly at the situation, knowing her daughter was one to get easily flustered like herself. Sonic's siblings laughed as well, having this in the back of thier mind for later teasing. It didn't take long for the youngest princess to arrive, pouting and red as a tomato still.
