ScorchKits point of view

I wake up to the sound of TwistedKit frightening me. Nonetheless I stretched my long legs and trotted out of the den in unison alongside TwistedKit. We settle ourselves beneath the CreekRock. I lower my hinders and sit on the dusty earth beneath me. My butterfly's had not yet left me. I pawed at the dirt beneath me nervously. On the other hand, Twisted seemed confident, he smiled proudly at the Creek rock above us. PineStar trudged onto the Creek Rock and yawned as he stretched his legs, his old bones cracking as he did so. All of the clan expected for him to retire soon. It was unavoidable.
PineStar sat at the edge of CreekRock. He cleared his throat and called out "all cats mature enough to bound in the tall grass of our territory, gather under the CreekRock for a clan meeting". I gulped as I stared blankly at PineStar, Twisted must've sensed this as he leaned against me and smiled, in a way to comfort me. I watch as the clan began to gather around.

Moments later after the clan had settled PineStar spoke once again, "many kits are going to be appointed mentors today, I would like to get to the point here and get straight to it, StarClan knows I have not much time to dawdle" the leader let out a breathy chuckle at his own joke, the clan joined in with there giggles and chuckles. "First off, JuniperKit please step forward" I watched TwistedKits eyes follow her as she stood forward, this made me smile.

After JuniperPaw was apprenticed, TwistedKits name was called, I bumped his shoulder as if to say good luck before he stepped forward. PineStar spoke again. "TwistedKit you have reached the age of six moons, and it is time for you to be apprenticed, from this day on, until you receive your warrior name, you will be known as TwistedPaw. Your mentor will be HaloSight. I hope HaloSight will pass down all of their knowledge to you" my ears dropped down, I knew that Twisted would be displeased with this, although Halo is undoubtedly a wonderful warrior, Her blindness comes as a disadvantage. I knew that I would be next and so I took a deep breathe to prepare myself and puffed out my chest, I turned to look and my mother and father, nodding to them. My mother had tears in her eyes as my father tried to comfort her. "ScorchKit, please step forward" PineStar chirped.
