Roll Of Thunder

The lightning cracks over the land, today was the day. I sigh and let out a purr as I nuzzled TangledTail before picking up AshKit between my teeth and stepping into the elders den, placing him infront of my mother, RobinHeart. She smiled and nuzzled me, "I will take good care of him, I promise" I nod and again nuzzle her, I bend down on my paws to reach AshKit, I nuzzle him and lick his cheek. "I will see you soon son, I promise you that. RobinHeart will take care of you until I return." He nods, yawning and curling up between my mothers paws, she placed her tail over him to keep him warm and smiles softly to me. The other kits soon join beside as she settles into her nest. I nod to her with one final smiles before leaving the den.

I step onto the VineRock, beside FerretStar. "Today is the day our faithful warriors" Ferret calls out. "Today is the day we have trained for.You warriors have fought for our clans tirelessly and loyally, and today I ask you to fight for us, one last time." I bellow to the clan, they all cheer for us and unsheathe their pre-sharpened class on the earth below them. FerretStar and I lead the way, heading towards the tall grass of BrookClan. We cross the bridge, stepping into the grass and creeping forward. As we hear CryptClan approaching we stand tall, everyone of the CryptClan cats stood tall. I was surprised to see BlizzardStar had joined. TundraClan stood tall, facing us, purely confident. The hisses of the clans echoe around the moors. The thunder roared, the lightning cracked over the land. The four leaders circle around one another, hissing and lashing our tails.

FerretStar takes the first lunge and BlizzardStar, I signal for BrookClan and JungleClan, they leap past us, attacking the opposing clans. I crouch down and jump up at TwistedStars chest. I attempt to sink my fangs into him, he snaps his jaws at me and I retaliate by giving him a sharp blow into the throat. He falls over when I hear a shriek from behind me, TangledTail being held down by a Molly named KoiSplash. I dash forward, pushing her away, holding her down as TangledTail sinks her fangs into her side, killing her. TwistedStar watches, his head spinning around watching his clan fall. So far hardly any of our warriors have died, or be heavily injured. On the other hand his clan had many fallen. I dash back over, FerretStar battled The TundraClan fierce leader. She was pinned down by him. I shove him away, holding him down. She grasps his head with her paws and sharply twists it, snapping her neck leaving his body fall limp. TwistedStar watches and I watch him run off in the direction of the tall Apple tree and the stony bridge. I nudge FerretStar and we carefully follow, making sure not to be spotted. He stopped beneath the Apple Tree, panting and breathing heavily. We creep around him before standing tall, surrounding him, he hisses at us. His hisses were muffled by the loud rolls of thunder over the land. Not a cry could be heard. As we were about to lunge a lightning cracks over the faithful apple tree, cracking it in half and causing it to catch fire and fall, setting a spark in the tall grass. As the fire sparks, creating a circle around us of bright cracking flames. "The prophecy!" I call out to FerretStar "the prophecy of fire." She replies. TwistedStar looks about him in confusion. Without another word I leap forward, FerretStar circles around TwistedStar and I, watching closely. He tears at my fur before scratching a deep scratch along my burn scars. The fire burned around us. I howled out in pain before shoving him down onto the floor. "Goodbye,old friend" I smirk. Picking up a charred thick stick from the ground a driving it into his chest. He splutters, spitting out blood as his blood oozed out, staining his pelt. I smirk as I hovered over him. my tail swaying in confidence. "Go to the dark forest fox-Heart" I hiss. "You first" he makes out the words before diving upwards at my chest, clawing my chest apart, mangling it. I splutter as FerretStar rushes over. I flick my tail urging for her to back away once again. She does so, her ears dropped she watches. He smirks, sure he has killed me. I release a yell. Being the bigger individual, I chomp my large jaws down onto his skull, crushing it from the outside. He released a scream which was muffled once again by the roll of thunder before collapsing onto the floor. I shoot a glance to FerretStar, she smiles, tears rolling down onto her face. before falling beside him, face to face we watch the life fade from each other's eyes. A tear falls from my face. I see the fire near us as FerretStars leaps over it and into the clearing. The lightning cracks infront of my eyes.I feel my life slipping away.

I did it. I took him down with me.

I blink my eyes open to find myself in an unfamiliar place. A familiar white she-cat stood before me. "You've done it dear" she smiles softly. My prophecy is complete.
