Ive always admired this particular young she-cat, JuniperKit, Over my few moons of existence I've grown close to her. Ive sensed that Scorch may envy how close i am to her. Im sure she doesn't see me the way I see her. Some day she will become my mate. I know it. Because after all She brings brightness to my darkest days even when my littermate, or family are being quite difficult. As Long as i can remember, my parents AmberGaze and DarkThorn have been less than welcoming with me. My brother, AdderKit on the other hand has always been the centre of attention, just as the Sun revolves around our galaxy, my parents lives revolve around Adders. He seems to understand this, I believe he feels some form of, remorse? Maybe empathy? I would adore it if just for once, one time that my family would care enough for me. I don't let it bother me, ScorchKit is the only family I need.

I wake up and stand to my paws before stretching my long legs, I shoot a cold glance to my mother and Littermate who were still in a deep slumber. I roll my eyes and trudge  over to a sleeping ScorchKit and RobinHeart, I creep around Robins sleeping body and Crouch on my paws, my tail swaying I nudge gently to Scorch, being careful to allow his mother to continue sleeping. I roll my eyes when he didn't wake up after my attempts. I lay still for a moment. Until a smirk grew across my face, an idea. I get close to ScorchKits large, floppy ears. I whisper into them "boo." Scorch flinches and jumps awake in fright, looking around with his ears perked on top of his head. Once he spotted me his large ears rested ones again and he released himself from the grip of his mothers Thin tail. He hissed slowly under his breathe before nudging my shoulder playfully and together we trot out of the den.

It was almost my time, I was going to be the greatest warrior this clan has ever seen. I will become leader and I will never be overlooked again. My parents will finally love me.
