CHAPTER 19

Jungkook stared at Jimin who was in the kitchen with his eomma chatting animatedly. Jimin was almost back to his old self. He smiled at how his eomma spoiled Jimin. Even his older brother, Junghyun had dotted on Jimin so much that it almost made Jungkook jealous. But how could be jealous of his boyfriend who needed all the love in the entire world.

It had been almost two weeks since Jimin testified and Jimin's birthday was fast approaching. His hyungs other than Tae and Yoongi had all gone home to visit their parents however they would be returning in a couple of days before Jimin's birthday.
"Hey, you naughty child!" Chae-Yeong shouted making him look at them. Jimin was doubling over the counter laughing while his mother had some flour on her face. Jimin must have done that. He chuckled. "I'm your mother pabo." She tickled Jimin who continued to laugh while trying to get away.
"Sorry eomma. You just have a perfect face. I'll wipe it." Jimin quickly took a kitchen towel and wiped his mother's face. Jungkook was smiling so hard his cheeks hurt. His beautiful boyfriend had his mother's heart. Jungkook didn't want to disturb them so he walked to the living room where he found Taehyung on his phone while the TV was on. He sat on the couch and looked at the television.

"Didn't want to interrupt them?" Tae suddenly asked.
"No. He seemed happy. How long have they been in there?"
"Probably an hour. Thank you for sharing your mum, I think it's the only thing he needed." Taehyung said putting his phone down.
"He isn't that close to his parent's?"
"When he was younger, his parent's wanted to teach him to be independent desperately that they forgot he was just a kid. He grew apart from them when he came to Seoul until they learnt what that manager was doing to him. He stayed home for a while but he wasn't talking much then he was in the States. That connection with them was barely there but they tried to be there. Jimin became dependent to me and Bin hyung because we were always there for him. He tells your mother stuff he can't even tell his mother. So thank you Kook for sharing your mother with him."

Jungkook felt horrible for even feeling that tiny bit jealous. He had lucked out with his parents. Jimin's mum had once told him they had neglected Jimin and she regretted it. He hoped they could mend their relationship and be proper parents to Jimin. He would treat Jimin right.

"Hyung what has Jimin ever wanted to do but never got the time?"
"Ah there are alot of things but you've pretty much done half of those things without knowing it."
"Really?" Jungkook raised his eyebrows.

"He once told me 'when I get a good boyfriend, I would want to walk on the beach in busan while holding hands'. He has always wanted to go to Disney with his boyfriend, so you can take him there."
"I can do that."
"He has a song written too but never got around to recording it."
Jungkook's ears perked. Jimin loved singing that much Jungkook knew but he'd never heard of Jimin writing a song. Jungkook could take him to his studio and maybe Yoongi would record it. Once they got back to Seoul, that would be the first thing on his to do list.

"Where's hyung?"
"In the bedroom. He said he was feeling inspired so I left him alone to write." Taehyung said still on his phone. Jungkook stood up and headed upstairs to the guest bedroom to find Yoongi scribbling on his notepad. He entered the room, "Hyung can I talk to you?"

"In a minute." Yoongi mumbled continuing to scribble. Jungkook just stared at him, Yoongi looked so deep in thought. He sat on the bed facing his hyung. After a while, Yoongi finished and looked up. "Sorry about that."

"It's okay hyung. Tae hyung told me Jimin has a song written, I was wondering if, maybe you could help him record it?"
"Mmh. Have you talked to him about it?"
"No. I just want to do something that will cheer him up even more."
"How about you talk to him about it. He's quite sensitive when it comes to people hearing his voice. Let him show you the song then we can discuss with him later. How does that sound?"
"Perfect. Thank you hyung. I'll leave you now." Jungkook stood up and left the room. He skipped to his room and began planning the next item on his agenda, their trip to Jeju Island in a few days.
