CHAPTER 21

It had been few weeks since their trip to Jeju Island. Few blissful weeks. It was absolutely true to say Jimin and Jungkook had synced emotionally, mentally and physically. The vacation allowed them to spend the much needed time alone to heal and learn about each other on a deeper level.

Jungkook witnessed how Jimin started glowing during their stay. Jimin seemed and was happier. They had toured Jeju, walked on the beach for hours and celebrated Jimin's birthday in a fancy restaurant. They had even attended couples therapy upon Jimin's insistence. Jimin wanted them to be alright before taking their wedding vows.

They had decided to hold the wedding in a months time. Their parents were taking care of planning it. They had both agreed on a small wedding, Jimin didn't need anymore spotlights on him. For their honeymoon, they both chose Paris and Seychelles.

When they went back to Seoul, Jimin had a permanent smile on his face which Jungkook loved so much. There were times when he felt so guilty for ever doubting Jimin, those days he went to the gym and boxed till his arms hurt. Whenever he was in that state, Jimin took care of him, giving him massages and assuring him that there was nothing to be guilty about.

Jeffrey and his friends had been sentenced to 25 years. That was a huge relief to everyone and especially Jimin. Jimin parents had then shipped Jimin and Tae's belongings before taking a flight back to Korea. Jungkook had asked Jimin to move in with him to which he agreed. They unpacked Jimin's stuff blending it with Jungkook's. Now the apartment was both theirs.

Jimin had then showed Jungkook the songs he'd scribbled. Yoongi and Namjoon were shocked. They said he wrote masterpieces. Yoongi had taken Jimin to his studio a day later and they had recorded the song 'Lie'. Yoongi hyung and even the managers who listened to the song praised Jimin. The song was released two weeks after recording.

“Babe.” Jungkook called out as he entered the apartment. He had gone to work as they were recording an episode of Run BTS. Contrary to their beliefs of Jimin not getting back to modelling, he was now the most sought out model by local and international brands. Jimin and Tae however chose to stay with Chanel and Louie Vuitton. They were both busy but Jimin had re-negotiated the terms of his contract and he was given less hours. He was ready to give up but Jungkook convinced him otherwise.

“Baby?” Jungkook called again getting no response. He frowned as he placed the take-out bags on the counter in the kitchen. Was Jimin not home yet? It was already past 8pm and Jimin usually got home at around 6:30pm. He headed upstairs to their bedroom. He removed his belt and coat and placed them on the bed. He took out his phone to call Jimin when he heard a faint whimper. He strained his ears and walked to the other side of the bed to find Jimin lying on the soft rag clutching his belly. Jungkook knelt beside him taking his head on his lap.

“What's wrong Minnie?” Jungkook asked as he placed his hand on Jimin's  forehead. His temperature was a bit high.
“Stomach hurts.”
“Okay, let's get you in bed then I'll call a doctor.” Jimin nodded and Jungkook lifted him easily placing him on the bed.
“I went to the doctor earlier. It's just a bug, I have medicines.”
“Why didn't you call me?” Jungkook asked massaging Jimin's stomache softly. Jimin sighed feeling much better.
“You were filming and Taetae was with me.”
“You are important to me baby. If anything happens call me first, okay?”
“Okay Kookie.” Jimin said softly.

Jungkook kept massaging him till he dozed off. Jungkook showered quickly and went to make some soup for his fianceé.
Later after Jungkook fed him all the soup, they relaxed on the bed cuddling comfortably.
“Mum asked if you have decided which color you'll wear.” Jimin said caressing Jungkook's chest.
“I thought we agreed on black and white. I don't want to change that. Do you want to change?”

“No. As long as at the end of the day I become Jeon-Park I don't really care what I wear.” Jungkook smiled and placed a kiss on Jimin's forehead. “I can't wait to have kids with you Kookie. I want a big family.”

“I know baby. Our surrogate is ready as soon as we get married.”
Jimin lifted his head and looked at Jungkook in the eyes, “How did I get so lucky?” His eyes teared up.
“I'm the lucky one. I landed the most beautiful husband in and out. Seriously Minnie, I'm lucky to have you in my life.”
“I love you Kookie and thank you for staying with me through the last few months. Thank you for your support.”
“It's just us against the world. It may not be easy or smooth sail henceforth but I'll never leave you again. I'll be with you till the end of my days. I love you too Jiminie.”
