There were butterflies fluttering all around us, and the birds were chirping louder than ever. Everything was so still. So... Untouched.
I stole a quick glance at Biana. She was gorgeous, even without her makeup or pretty dress. She could walk into a room with a trash bag on, a face full of acne, and be bald, and she would still be just as pretty. I would still love her just the same.
"We can just spend the day here," Biana said softly.
"Sounds good to me," Sophie agreed.
"Me too," Fitz said.
"Yep," I nodded.
I grabbed Biana's soft hands, "Follow me," I whispered. She had an excited look in her eye as we ran to the pool.
"Where are you guys going?!" Keefe shouted.
"Wherever we want!" I called back. Biana and I stopped just at the edge of the pool.
"Three," I counted down, "Two. One!"
Then we jumped in. The water was cold, but I didn't mind. Biana smiled at me, and gave me a quick kiss.
"You're amazing, Dex," She whispered.
"Trust me Ripplefluff, you're the amazing one here," I smiled.
"Did you just call me... Ripplefluff?"
I turned bright red when I realized what I had said. Wow, that was... Smooth. I wanted to facepalm myself.
"Ummm..."
"It was cute, silly. Call me it more," She giggled. And I literally melted. Why did this girl have to be so stinken adorable?!
We both started to laugh but then stopped when I heard another splash echo from behind me. It was Sophie and Keefe!
"Hey guys! Glad you joined it!" I said happily.
"Well, we couldn't just let you have all the fun, could we?" Keefe joked. Another splash. I looked around to see Linh, Wylie, and Tam!
"Hey!" I exclaimed.
"Glad you made it!" Biana smiled.
"We wouldn't miss it for the world," Wylie said. Then they both looked at each with lovely doves eyes. I could see Tam rolling his eyes. Poor guy, having to third wheel his sister's relationship. Splash!
"Hey, Fitz and Marella!" Sophie said.
"Wow it's cold!" Marella cried.
"I know, right?!" Keefe agreed. Everyone started to laugh. But one thing was for sure, this was going to be the best day ever.
