Linh POV

"Tam! Hurry! We'll be late to the sleepover that Biana probably worked really hard on!" I said urgently. I would hate to be late for Biana's sleepover, I know I would be really sad if everyone showed up late if I had planned a sleepover. She was so nice to do that for everyone.

"I'm HURRYING!" He said quickly, styling his bangs perfectly. Tam's had a HUGE crush on Biana ever since he first met her, and now he won't leave the house without his bangs literally stuck to his face with hair gel. It was cute at first, but now it was just... Sad.

"You should try your luck and confess your feelings for her. She might say yes! I mean, how could she say no to that face," I squeezed his cheeks together, "For real, Tam. You need to tell her."

"I don't know, Linh. You've seen the way she looks at Dex. I'm pretty sure she's not into me."

"You never know," I shrugged.

"Okay, let's go," He said. We quickly rushed to the leap master and called out Everglen!

Seconds later, we were there.

I knocked on the door and waited for Biana or Fitz to open it. With the corner of my eye I noticed Tam straightening his hair and unwrinkling his clothes. I sighed. It's better if he just told her and got it over with. If she liked him, YAY! They could start dating, and if she didn't, it's not like he liked her long enough to be in love with her or anything.

Meanwhile I on the other hand... Nevermind, let's not get into my love life right now.

"Hi Linh and Tam! Welcome to Everglen!" Biana said cheerfully. We walked inside and I saw Sophie, Keefe, Dex, and Fitz. Wylie and Marella hadn't arrived yet.

I was looking forward to seeing my best friend again, we hadn't actually talked in a while, and I was starting to wonder why. Maybe I hurt her feelings somehow?

As for Wylie, we were talking just the other day, Wylie's my... Friend? I guess? I really don't know what we are at this point. It's... Complicated. Feelings am I right?

"Hey, Linh? You alright? You totally zoned out there?" Sophie asked.

"Oh, yeah I'm fine. Just... Thinking..." I trailed off.

Sophie seemed like she wanted to know more but didn't press any further, and for that I was grateful. How was I even supposed to explain everything when I didn't even understand what was going on myself?
