Chapter 7: Kara's End

"In a city, sixty miles from the road that divides the territories. In a very tall building with a logo that reads "Boomer Inc"

Boruto lays strapped to a table, unconscious, that faces a wall, a window to the right that shows the entire right side of the city. Kawaki, Jigen, and Code enter

Jigen: How hard did you punch him? He's been out for a day.

Kawaki: You didn't say how hard I should've punched him, Master.

Jigen: True.

Code: Shall I wake him up?

Jigen: You got the taser?

Code: Do mutants eat humans?

Code pulls a taser out of his pocket and uses it on Boruto. Boruto roars in pain as he wakes up

Boruto: Kawaki you bastard!

Boruto thrashes in the straps

Jigen: Shock him again.

Code: With pleasure.

Code tasers Boruto again

Boruto: Rah!

Jigen: That's enough.

Code stops

Boruto: Why am I hear?

Jigen: Because you are going to replace the soilders you killed! Hahaha!

Boruto: I'll die before I serve you low life pieces of sh-

Code uses the taser again and Boruto yells. Jigen motions for him to stop and Code does

Jigen: We won't kill you. We'll just torture you until you say "I'm your pawn."

Kawaki: It's not that hard, Boruto. Just say it, and you'll get a room with electricity.

Code: A refrigerator with vegetables, and fruit.

Jigen: Cabinets with pasta of all kinds. Cans of tomato sauce.

Kawaki: And you will be respected.

Jigen: Just not as much as my right hand man, Kawaki.

Boruto sees his sword in Kawaki's hand

Boruto: I'm going to say this once. Let me go, and I'll make each of your deaths quick.

Jigen hits Boruto across the face with his bo staff. Boruto spits out some blood and smirks

Jigen: You can't tell me that didn't hurt.

Boruto: I've felt worse.

Jigen: You telling me torture isn't gonna work on you?

Boruto: Nothing you do will work. You can't break someone who's already broken.

Jigen: Himawari did tell me you were forced to train by your ex army step dad. I didn't like hearing how your mom was beat by him.

Boruto: She also tell you our mom was a drug addict? And had me go pick her stuff up from her dealers?

Jigen: Yep. Don't think telling us this will make us go easy on you. Children watching their mom get beat will always pull at my heart strings. It truely will, but it won't ever work.

Boruto: I will never obey you. That's final.

Jigen: Listen up bitch, and listen good. You will serve us or else.

Boruto: Or else what?

Jigen: We will go back to the shit hole you were living in, bring them all here, and bring them in this room one at a time and slit their f*cking throats in front of you while you can't do shit to stop us!
