Chapter 6: Complications

"Picking up where last chapter ended"

Naruto: Hello son, it's been a long time.

Boruto: What the f*ck? This can't be possible.

Naruto: I'm sure you have a lot of questions.

Naruto wears an orange long sleeve shirt with black pants and black boots. He walks over to Boruto

Boruto: No. This is my mind playing some sick joke.

Boruto takes a step back, and his back hits the wall. Naruto stops in front of Boruto

Naruto: This is no joke.

Boruto: Where the hell have you been?! Do you know what the f*ck I have been through?!

Boruto pushes Naruto back and punches him in the face

Naruto: I know you're u-

Boruto jumps up and spin kicks Naruto in the face. Naruto hits the floor gets up slowly, he spits out some blood

Boruto: Do you have any idea what Hima went through?!

Boruto grabs the collar of Naruto's shirt and punches him to the ground

Boruto: What mom went through?!

Boruto kicks Naruto away from him as tears flow out of his left eye

Naruto: I'm so sorry.

Boruto punches Naruto again, and Boruto falls down crying. Naruto gets up, and hugs his son on the ground

Naruto: I'm so so sorry, for everything.

Boruto: Why did you leave?

Naruto makes Boruto look him in the eyes

Naruto: Because of this.

Naruto's eyes turn red with slits

Boruto: You're a mute!

Boruto gets up and jumps back, he grabs the handle of his sword with his right hand, and the left hand holds the scabbard with his thumb on the guard

Naruto: Half mute. The army made me sign up for an experiment, this was two years before I met your mom. But nothing happened. When I met your mom, and after you and Hima were born things started to change in me.

Boruto: You were turning.

Naruto: Yeah. So I left, no goodbye notes, or I'm sorries. I went to the army base that did this to me and they said they couldn't do anything. They called me a failed experiment. I started living in the forest to keep people safe. I then found out about others becoming mutated and the world falling.

Boruto: How come you haven't turned?

Naruto: At first I couldn't control it. I would turn into a fox with nine f*cking tails at random. But I found out how to control it. I just had to accept it. Then whenever I got stabbed the wound would heal. When I got bit by other mutes, my blood in the biten area turned into an antibody and healed.

Boruto: So would this mean your blood could be used as a vaccine?

Naruto: I tried that. But the person who volunteered died half mutated.

Boruto: You said you had this experiment before you met mom. Does this mean I'm also half mute?

Naruto: I don't know. How did Hima die?

Boruto: Jigen bit her. She became a half mutant bat.

Naruto: I guess she didn't inherit the antibody thing I have.
