Midoriya Izuku vs. Syren Martinez

~Previously~

...

"You're on, Midoriya. Give me all you've got."

...

~We both walked out onto the field, preparing ourselves for what could possibly happen~

"Don't hold back, Midoriya." *My hands started to glow in black and white, preparing for battle*

Midoriya: I don't plan on it, Syren.

Present Mic: The first battle is Syren Martinez and Midoriya Izuku! Let's how this one turns out!

"PRESENT MIC, MY EARS ARE SENSITIVE!"

Present Mic: Sorry, Martinez.

"Anyway, let's get this show on the road, shall we?" *I made the day darker than nighttime, and moved behind Midoriya for a sneak attack*

Midoriya: Just gotta keep track of her footsteps. 

"More than that, Midoriya." *I jumped back in front of him and shot a light laser in his face, barely scaping his skin and leaving a small burn*

Midoriya: *He raised his arm and prepared to flick me away, trying not to use all of his strength* I don't wanna hurt you too much.

"Don't worry about my pain, Midoriya. Eventually, you'll need the pain to be your advantage." *I moved away from him, dodging his blast, but still got knocked down from the wind gust* "You're learning to use your surroundings, Midoriya. I'll have to use mine, as well."

Midoriya: 'POV: That was an accident, but it knocked her down. Just gotta get her to a point where she can't cause too much damage.' 

*I got up, and flew to a point where I knew he wouldn't be able to reach me and made the day go back to normal* "Try to catch me!" *I flew down a little bit, teasing him a bit*

Midoriya: You won't get away that easy, Syren. *He ran around the field and prepared to attack again, using a different finger to flick the air* 'POV: If it happens again, she should get knocked down to the ground, giving me the upper hand' *He flicked and the gust of wind knocked me to the ground*

"So, you keep improving? I can do the same." *I got up and used my wings to try to push him past the boundary line*

Midoriya: *He pushed back, trying to figure out how to fight back without breaking his bones*

*I flew around, making an illusion of my speed increasing, making him follow me around causing dizziness* "This should do the trick."

Midoriya: 'POV: She's thinking a lot about this. She must have fought someone like this before. I just have to aim it right, and strike her.'

*I kept the Illusion up, disorienting him* "It shouldn't be long, Midoriya. Keep up with me!"

Midoriya: *He punched the place where he thought I was, and barely scraped by my wing* I almost got you.

"Close, but not close enough. Sorry." *I stopped the illusion, and flew down to him* "You need to learn to check your surroundings, Midoriya. That way, you'll know when to strike next. Try it next time."

Midoriya: *He was basically out of breath, beat up, and had a broken arm* I won't let you win, Syren!

"Good to know that the feeling is mutual. See you when I win." *I was mentally drained, but was trying not to let it show* "See you later, Midoriya." *I darkened the day and tied him up with a chain illusion, knowing that I would almost pass out*

Midoriya: LET ME GO! *He was trying to get out of the ropes*

"Sorry, Midoriya. Can't do that..." *I was on the verge of losing consciousness*

Midoriya: 'POV: She looks pretty drained. I can use that to my advantage'

"Don't worry, you're not getting out there anytime soon. I'll make s-sure of that." 

Midoriya: 'POV: She's getting weaker. The illusion shouldn't hold up for much longer.' *He felt the ropes loosen and fade away, and saw the bright back to normal, and my body on the floor, passed out, and unconscious* She must've used all the power she could.

Present Mic: IT APPEARS THAT SYREN HAS BEEN UNCONSCIOUS! THAT MEANS THAT MIDORIYA IS THE WINNER!

Midoriya: *He stood up, with his broken arm, and walked off the field* I won against her. 'POV: Even though I can't use 100% of my power...'

~After a few hours, I woke up in Recovery Girl's office, with all sorts of things in my arms. I also saw Midoriya in a bed next to me. Recovery Girl saw me awake and came over to me~

Recovery Girl: So you're Syren Martinez. I've heard a lot about you.

"Yeah, that's me. What have you heard?"

Recovery Girl: I've heard that you have multiple Quirks, and are getting along with people from Class 1-A. And that you're from America.

"Yeah, I'm from America. I'm here with my brother." *I tried to get up*

Recovery Girl: Try not to move to much. You exhausted your body too much. 

"But I have to see my brother. He's probably worried about me."

Recovery Girl: I can go get him for you. 

"Ok, then."

~She went to get him, and they both came after about 10 minutes~

Cisco: Are you ok, sis? I was worried after that epic fight with Midoriya.

"Who won?"

Cisco: Midoriya got the win, since you passed out from exhaustion.

"I really wanted to beat him... He was a good opponent, though."

Cisco: I'm proud of you, either way.

"Thanks, bro. Now, we just have to wait for him to wake up." *I looked over at him again*

Cisco: It'll happen. He looks pretty busted up, though. If it were up to me, I'd say that you guys had a pretty even fight. The only reason you lost the fight, earlier, is 'cause you passed out.

"Yeah, that sucked. I don't like losing. I'm gonna work harder to improve."

Cisco: We all need to do that, sis. You'll get stronger, eventually.

"You always know what to say, don't you?"

Cisco: I'm your older brother. Of course I have to know what to say to you.

Recovery Girl: This is nice, but I need focus on healing Midoriya.

"Sorry, Recovery Girl. We'll be quieter."

Recovery Girl: Thank you. And you should be good to go in a couple hours. 

"Perfect. Thanks, Recovery Girl."

Recovery Girl: It's my job. But you're welcome.

~After a couple hours went by, we all went back to our hotel, while our classmates went home. The next day, we went over scores from our individual battles~
