~Previously~

...

Cisco: And that beacon will be our only to actually call our parents, without the Con's getting up to us. So if they find out anything on our whereabouts, we're gonna have a bigger issue than we already have.

...

"How could they get to us through our phones?"

Cisco: They have their ways. Remember when I was able to hack into the school intercom system to tell people not to worry about the break-in, and that it was just the media?

"Yeah. What does that have to do with anything?"

Cisco: It's like that. We all have different ways to get into other tech. If you were to pull out your phone right now, I could easily use it as a distress signal, or use it to do something else.

"Like?"

Cisco: Like tracking your location, sending texts to people, and maybe getting your search history.

"What?"

Cisco: Why are you so concerned about the search history?

"I'm not, it's just really cool that you can do that!"

Cisco: Sure. Let's stick to that, sis. Anyway, it's really dangerous if they find out where we are, specifically.

"But why?"

Cisco: For obvious reasons. Like being able to find and k*ll us, if they wanted. Don't forget that the whole school doesn't know that they exist. Imagine how you would feel if a Wolf girl and an Aerialbot, partly from a different planet, just showed up, trained with them, and after a few weeks, just said "By the way, we're being attacked by giant robots from a different planet, so we should probably get out of here before they figure out where we are."

"Fair point. Can I help you finish the beacon?"

Cisco: Doubt it. You barely know how to fix me, and last time you did, it was only surface repairs. This is being constructed from its base.

"You're right. Then I'll help with the fighting and training. Just tell me what to do."

Cisco: Thanks. We'll both need all the help we can get. We also need to make sure that they don't interfere with the Sports Festival.

"Yeah, when is that?"

Cisco: I think it's tomorrow.

"Already?! I don't know if I'm prepared for it, yet."

Cisco: We both are, even if we don't feel like it. It's just a friendly competition between the classes at the school.

"Yeah, you're right again. It really is just fighting other people form the school."

Cisco: See? Not so bad once we think of them as friends, right?

"Yep. Let's get some rest, then. We'll definitely need it."

...

~That's all for this chapter! Sorry that it's a bit short, but I need to save space for the actual Festival. If there are any mistakes, questions, or concerns, feel free to leave a comment. That's all for today, and I hope you have a good day/night, wherever you are! Bye!~
