It was my birthday and I am spending time with my family at the moment!!

"So your telling me that you want to read a book. Is that is?" He spoke, setting his drink on the desk before him.
"Yes! But I can't read any more books because we don't have any nearby." She replied, nervously pacing in front of Erwin's desk.
He stayed silent, watching her pace before he decided that it was enough.
"Then maybe some day we can get more books. We can't currently because were going on an expedition here soon." He replied in a monotone voice. He then got up and put on his coat that was from his coat hanger.
"Get Levi and the others, were having a meeting." He then left Hange, not waiting for a response.
Hange huffed out a long sigh before she to, left the room to go get her comrades.

"As you are aware, we've been getting reports that the titans are gathering around in a small, resorted area deep within the forest. We've been tasked with seeking out the problem and eliminating the titans surrounding the area. Any questions or complaints so far before I continue?" Erwin questioned the group before him.
"How long have the titans been gathering in the forest exactly?" Hange asked, resting her hand beneath her chin.
"Exactly 2 weeks that we've been getting reports." He said.
Levi set his tea down, crossing his arms before he spoke up.
"Is this titan group near civilization?"
"Yes. There is a village a couple 100 meters near the forest. That's where we've been getting the reports from."
Levi hummed in thought.
"Anymore questions?"
".........."
"No? Alright then. I'll continue. I will be sending out 5 squads. 6 people will be in each squad. We leave in 2 days. Dismissed." He commanded.
Everyone got up, leaving the room one by one to there respected places.
------------Time Skip to 2 days later----------
"Apparently there bringing us on a mission." Armin said, gently places his plate of food on the table. He sat down on Eren's left and Sasha was to Armin's right.
"This will be exciting! We get to kill more titans!" Eren exclaimed, before he stuffed his mouth with mash potatoes.
The lunch for today was bread loaf, mash-potatoes and beef with a side of some carrots.
"Hah! Crazy bastard, you just wanna die don't you?" Jean huffed out, eating some beef.
"Hey! If it means that I can lessen the titans so that the future people can live more safely, then I'll do it!!" Eren argued back, throwing some mash-potatoes at his face.
"Eren!" Armin called out startled.
"BASTARD!" Jean yelled, wiping his face off. He got up to throw some back but he was stopped by Marco. (<--was that his name??)
(And surprise! He's not dead in this AU)
Mikasa quickly grabbed Eren's hand before he could throw more food.
"Eren stop." She said, shaking her head no.
Eren let out a huge before he threw his food away and left the lunch room area.
Mikasa followed after while Armin and Sasha stayed behind. Well....Sasha was crying because the poor food was wasted.

--Time Skip to the night before Expedition--
Soon day turned to night. The cadets were in there respected rooms and getting ready for their expedition tomorrow.
Erwin and Levi stayed up to re-read the reports and further evaluate them. Hange was passed out on her work desk, a pencil in hand.
Everything was quiet and peaceful...
