"Alright! As you have heard about, were are having an expedition today! Todays mission is to find out the disturbance that has been reported around the edge of the forest. This place is near a remote village so I'll be setting out a group to help protect and or evacuate them to a safer position." Erwin voiced out, looking at the cadets standing before him in formation.
"Any questions about todays expedition?" He asked.
He was met with silence as no one had any questions.
"With that being said. I'll dismiss you into your appropriate groups."
As Erwin was putting the cadets in groups, they all were dismissed to get their horses and wait near the entrance of their place.
"Wow! Can you believe this!? I can finally find me some babies!!" Hange yelled in excitement, shaking Levi's shoulders back in forth, irritating him.
"Get off." He warned, slapping Hange's hands off him. Hange ignored the sleep deprived male and continued squealing in her excitement.

Erwin Split up the cadets into 3 groups.
Erwin with his cadets, Levi with his cadets and Hange with her cadets.
Erwin's group was in charge with finding the threat.
Levi's and Hange's group was in charge with finding the village and protecting/evacuating them.
--Time Skip to when their near the forest--
"Make sure your in your respected groups and we can head off!" Erwin commanded.
The cadets followed the orders and went to their assigned captain.
"Alright! Forward!" He declared, his voice booming across the fellow cadets ears.
Erwin's group started moving forward faster as Levi's and Hange's group started moving towards the right.

-Armin's POV-
'This is nerve wrecking...' I thought.
My group was with Hange. I'm paired with myself, Jean, Marco, Connie, Sasha, Ymir, and some others.
'Its been a while sense we have been moving. I don't see Erwin's group anymore and I can't hear any-'
My thoughts were cut off as Levi spoke to us.
"I see the village up ahead. Prepare yourselves." He stated.
'Thought to soon..'

Soon, the cadets and 2 captains came across the village.
Most of them gasped, the village was in shambles and fire was burning everywhere.
Why they couldn't see the smoke earlier was questioning. Although they quickly got out of their shock, they hopped off the horses and started searching for survivors and any possible threats nearby.
Levi landed on a roof near the middle of a village, scanning the surrounding area.
Everything was quiet. There was no titans, no screaming for help, and no birds chirping. It was strange but not unusual.
