The rest of the day was painfully slow and I had to go on many runs just to prevent my wolf taking control.

So here I am on my tenth run since finding out my step dad is my mate. It's cruel that after all the pain in my life more just keeps coming my way.

The question pops back into my head making the anger return.

'Why did he marry my mom when she is clearly not his mate.'

That started the snow ball of questions leaning to me to pick up my pace growling in annoyance.

'Do they sleep in the same bed? Have they ever had sex? Why did he not wait for me? What am I supposed to do now?'

I mean I never thought about rejecting my mate, but now my mate is married to my mom. And to add the sprinkles they adopted two pups who clearly dislike me.

I kept running around until I am tackled by a dark brown almost blood red brown wolf. He radiates power, but not as much as my mate. So I let my scent free showing I am of Alpha Blood. He still growls making my wolf more angry. So when he bared his teeth I could not hold back.

Hey at least I tried the peaceful way other than shifting back and be here naked in front of a guy who is not my mate.

We circled around each other before he launches at me, but I side swooped him. He shakes my blow off before trying again, but this time I could smell my mate which distracted me enough to allow him to attack me. He clawed me and bit my leg before knocking me to the grown about to probably finish me off. I growled trying to get up, but he kicks me back down making my head hit the tree. Before I black out I could smell my mate's scent getting stronger.

Well at least I got to meet him before I die. Goodbye cruel world.
