Komal got ready and came outside without wearing her nuptial chain and sindoor.
Soudamini immediately saw that and said " I think you are not intentionally forget to wear them" pointing her hands towards her neck and hairline.

" I didn't wear them intentionally" said Komal sternly.

" what you said?" A voice came from back, Komal turned and find Arjun looking at her angrily.
He reached her and pulled her forward by her arm.

Arjun clutched her hand more tightly she yelped in pain.

" she didn't wear sindoor and nuptial chain, look" said Soudamini, Arjun's anger raised and he dragged her to the kitchen and took handful of Chilli powder into his hands.

" I will teach a lesson so you won't forget to wear them" said Arjun raising his hand along with Chilli powder.

Komal understood what he is about to do and tried to escape but he forcedly poured that powder on her hairline.
That Chilli powder fell on her eyes and she shouted with pain.

" aah...." Komal shouted holding her eyes while tears are flowing down.

Soudamini who is watching everything taunted her saying " if you didn't forget you shouldn't have to bear it"

" please help me, It's burning please" shrieked Komal while trying to find water.
She is near to water jug but Arjun  throwed it down before she hold it and said " it's your punishment, no one will help you go and find yourself"

Komal came out of kitchen and walking in every direction as she can't open her eyes, she is unable to bare it, on her way she is bumping on every possible item but not finding water.

Scene shifts:

Pratap is getting ready but he heard something fell down and went to Chek it but find Komal collapsing with everything and he went to her and shouted at her.

" please help me, I can't see anything" she cried.
He felt suspicious and made her turn towards him, he find Chilli powder on her face.

" what's all this" he asked.
She narrate everything to him and asked him to help.
He felt pitty for her and said " I will help you, but don't tell it to mom or Arjun".
She nodded, he held her hand and took her to the washroom.

He handed a mug with water to her, she poured water on her face but the pain is still there, she tried to fetch water he helped her.

" there is still powder on your hairline" he said, she touched her hairline not opening her eyes.
" wait I will help" he said pouring water from her hairline, soon she got free from Chilli powder, but her eyes are paining terribly and she is not able to open her eyes.

" I have work take care" he said bluntly.
She stepped forward and her leg slipped and about to fall down, but he held her securely and prevented her from falling.

His face is just few inches from her face, he never touched any girl that too this closely, it is her, whom he touched.
He lost in her innocent face but came into his senses hearing her voice " I am sorry I can't open my eyes"

He made her stand and took helped her to sit on bed.
Arjun came there, and saw them.

" I think you got your lesson" he said.
Pratap took Arjun to a side.

" what is this Arjun, you shouldn't have done this to her" said Pratap.

" are you feeling for her?" Asked Arjun.
Pratap denied him and said " she have to suffer but not this way, what if she loose her eyesight"

Arjun thought for a while and said " I will call doctor, but make sure she wear them"
Pratap nodded and went to Komal.

He took sindoor and applied it on her hairline and nuptial chain around her neck.

" don't ever dare to repeat it again, understand" he warned her.
She nodded her head.

Doctor came and checked her eyes, blindfolded her eyes and prescribed eyedrops.

" make her wear eyedrops and after that blindfold her,
I will check her after 3 days" doctor said and went away.

" look, holiday from house chores" taunted Soudamini.
Arjun interrupted her saying " no holiday, she will do maid will assist her"
