Pratap dragged Komal and pushed her causing her to fell on floor with a thud.
" you are my wife also...rem...remember it" said Pratap with slurred speech.
He bolted door and fell on bed. Komal is crying for her bad fate and not paying attention to her surroundings, suddenly she felt a pull on her hair and she shrieked with the pain. Pratap held her hair and lifted her which caused her to shriek.
" you bad luck, won't you stop weeping" he yelled shaking her head holding her hair.
" aah... leave me, please let me go" begged Komal.
" it's not that easy, now come and press my legs" saying that he pushed her on bed.
He laid on bed and placed his legs on her lap. Cursing her fate she started to press his legs with her shaky hands.
" can't you do a work properly, press nicely" he taunted her, she continued her work, Pratap falls asleep.
Komal slowly crawled down from the bed and sat in a corner and kept sobbing silently remembering her life.
Few months back:
Veerghad:
" no one dare to talk against Soudamini thakurain{ , but that man came and warned her at her house, don't know what we have to witness today" murmured one of the villager in a group.
Soudamini's house:
Soudamini is looking down, soon her sons Pratap and Arjun came to her running.
" how dare he is to insult you mom, I will kill him" yelled Pratap taking his pistol out.
" I will drag him here, no one even dare to look at us, but he came and warned you, I will make sure he regret it" yelled Arjun punching on wall.
" calm down, what is the use of that punishment which will just punish his body" said Soudamini chewing her paan{ betel leaf}
Pratap and Arjun gave a puzzled look to their mom.
" punishment should be like that, which will leave a deep wound to the person's heart" said Soudamini.
" but how?" Asked Arjun.
Soudamini gave a knowing smile to her sons.
Scene shifts:
" dad, I am leaving for Meenal's wedding, will come soon" said Komal climbing down steps adjusting her duppata.
Her father Ajay agarawal nodded while reading newspaper. Komal reached venue and went to meet her friend.
" looking great" said Komal seeing her friend. Both friends are discussing, but they heard gun sounds from outside and they are about to go out but Meenal's mom came and locked door with tense.
" what happened, what are those sounds?" Asked Meenal.
" you both go, Komal please take Meenal and run away" said Meenal's mom, while They both are confused.
" aunt, what are you saying, today is her wedding" Said Komal, While someone is banging on the door threatening to open it.
" there is no time to say, please you both escape from that door, it's not safe here, please go" said Meenal's mom joining her hands.
With no other choice Komal and Meenla escaped from there and started to run.
Here, the door got break both Pratap and Arjun came inside, seeing them Meenal's mom stepped back.
" where is your daughter?" Yelled Pratap pointing pistol at her, while Arjun started to search the room.
" she ran away brother" said Arjun.
" your husband shouldn't have insulted my mom, now your daughter will pay for that insult" warned Arjun.
" please leave my daughter she is not a fault" begged Meenal's mom but not listening to her, they stormed from there in search of Meenal.
Komal and Meenal reached Komal's house and she explained everything to her father. But they don't know the reason. Komal's father decided to take help from police.
Komal is drifted into sleep but she awake at once for the cold sensation. She is fully drenched as Arjun poured bucket full cold water on her.
" it's not your house, go and get ready, mom is waiting for you" he said sternly to her.
Komal got up and held his hand, who is about to go. She tried to say something but he jerked his hand and pushed her away. " don't dare to touch me without my consent, stop this drama and come soon" saying that he gone from there.
