" your daughter in law should perform a puja for that she must be pure, so ask her to take dips in that pond" said Priest to Soudamini, after hearing that She ordered Komal to do so.
Komal agreed, while Pratap and Arjun accompanied her till pond.
She entered into pond and took her first dip.
" I will never let you people succeed in your plan" Komal thought and raised from water for breathe.
Soudamini joined her sons, who are watching their wife.
" she doesn't know, what she must go through after all these Rituals" said Soudamini, to which her sons smirked. " I can't wait to destroy her mom" said Arjun, while Pratap is observing Komal.
Komal is still dipping in pond chanting something, Pratap, Arjun soudamini are talking with each other and laughing while in-between glancing at her.
Tears from Komal's eyes are mingled with the water in the pond.
" oi, how many times will you dip, come fast otherwise you will catch cold my wife" taunted Arjun and laughed.
" not only your wife brother, she is my wife too" added Pratap.
Komal can hear all their taunts. They are making fun of her.
" your laughs which are formed by my pain, will won't last longer" Komal thought and she dipped one more time and not came out this time. Soudamini noticed it and shouted " come out daughter in law, we have to perform other rituals also"
They kept glancing at the pond "Can't you hear, come out quickly" Shouted Arjun, " look you can't escape us, come out otherwise forget your father" warned Pratap.
Soudamini sensed something wrong and asked Pratap to go and check. " go and check Pratap, I think She is trying to escape" Soudamini said.
Pratap started to walk towards the pond, perhaps he soon find something just started to float on water. His eyes became wide with the realization and shouted " No....", He jumped into the water asap and grabbed Komal.
Soudamini and Arjun got shocked and came running towards the pond. Pratap bring Komal out of pond and started to tap on her cheek to wake her up.
Soudamini begin to panic, people gathered there. Arjun came and checked her breathe, he looked at her mom in terror.
" what happened.. tell me Arjun" Soudamini yelled. Pratap is still trying to wake up her. Soudamini yelled again at Arjun to answer her, to which he said "She is dead mom"
Soudamini is shocked and people around her started murmuring.
" she took her life" excalimed Pratap laying Komal's body on the steps.
" no this can't be happen, how can she do this? No..no... I...mean she escaped us" Soudamini kept blabbering in shock.
Komal's life less body is lying on the steps like that while Pratap and Arjun are tending Soudamini who is in deep shock, just then the preist came and saw Komal's body and shouted aloud " what a bad omen".
Hearing him Soudamini came out of her dilemma. " this is really a bad omen Mrs.Soudamini, she is the one who destined to bring prosperity and long life for your sons now she killed herself in the temple because of you and your sons" Presit said with fear.
" so what, she is dead, can't come back, what now?" Said Arjun in irritated tone. " this is not good neither for your house nor for your sons" Preist said, while Soudamini collapsed down in shock hearing that.
" she took her life in helpless situation her soul will not rest in peace and will definitely seek revenge from you and your sons Mrs.Soudamini" Presit said which infuriated Pratap, he yelled in rage " she is a mere pawn in our lives and she didn't dared to go against us when she is alive, now also she can't do anything"
" spirit's won't fear for anyone" Presit said, asap he felt Pain in his face as Arjun punched him. " she have to fear" he yelled.
Soudamini who believes in all superstitions panicked hearing everything.
" she is dead because of me and my sons, I've made her my daughter in law in hope of getting prosperity and long life for my sons, but i got blinded to get revenge I thought she will definitely try to escape but never thought she will commit suicide, We tortured her so much, now what will happen, will priest saying will come true, will her soul haunt us.. No that must not happened" Soudamini thought and stood infront of priest joining her hands.
Arjun and Pratap who is not even felt a glimpse of sadness about her wife death, looked puzzled seeing her mom like that.
" please save us, show us some solution for this problem Pandit ( preist)" Soudamini begged the priest.
" mom what are you doing, down your hands" Pratap said but Soudamini ignored him.
Presit thought for a while and said " first perform her last rites then we will find a solution" Soudamini agreed.
But Arjun denied and yelled " let her body rot, atleast we will get our revenge by this way" Pratap felt bad hearing that. Soudamini slapped Arjun shocking him.
" do you know she died because of us, and you are talking like that even after hearing everything what pandit said" Soudamini yelled.
By order of her mom Pratap and Arjun performed Komal's last rites.
After that Soudamini and her sons, are waiting to listen the solution. Priest said something which shocked them.
