"NEVER WILL I EVER ALLOW KWAZII INTO THE LAB AGAIN." Shellington declared the instant he stepped foot into the Game Pod, "The children and I were cleaning whatever Earth he was using for hours!"
Tweak scoffed, "It's Kwazii, what do you expect, Shel?"
"Fair point." Shellington admitted and sat down on the nearest beanbag chair as his adopted 'children' scurried to sit in his lap.
"So," Tweak turned to Dashi and put her head on her shoulder, "Ya got anything interesting?"
Dashi giggled and nuzzled her best friend. "Other than having to take the girls to Peso after they nearly killed each other over a pencil, no, not really."
"Anything new from the tablet?" Tweak asked sweetly, wrapping her arms around Dashi.
"Yep, actually, there is. And you're gonna like this one." Dashi winked at Tweak.
"Oh, really?" Tweak raised her eyebrows made of oxygen, "Are ya sure, girl?"
"A hundred percent." Dashi teased and turned towards Kwazii, who was uselessly hiding behind his beanbag chair.
"From @TheRaidy_Ava, I dare Kwazii to stop wrecking things for 24 hours (you're welcome, Tweak)." Tweak's face lit up like a child in a candy store while Kwazii looked like he'd rather been in a house full of tarantulas.
"Welp, you were right Dash. I love it!" Tweak exclaimed, "And thank you. I oughtta send you a gift basket for givin' me half a day off work." Kwazii pouted, but said nothing.
"What-?" Dashi seemed utterly confused.
"Tweak spends half her days fixing and cleaning up whatever Kwazii did." Jane told her.
"Well not half of my days anymore." Tweak pondered before scooping her apprentice up onto her lap, "Since I got the best little helper in the world, it takes way less time now."
"Aww, Tweaky..." Dashi beamed as she had a minor little tussle with Tweak over getting her little sister back before surrendering, "Well, have fun with your newfound free time."
Tweak cackled dangerously, "Oh, I will, Dash, I will."
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------Tweak lay on her back in bed, holding her Nintendo Switch above her face, reaching over the edge of the bed every now and then to grab a carrot.
"TWEEEEEEAAAAAAK!" Someone whined from the entrance of the room, and the bunny in question gritted her teeth. She knew exactly who had come.
"Whaddya want?" She snapped without taking her eyes off of her new Minecraft world.
"I'm bored." Kwazii threw himself onto the floor.
"What are you, 5?" Tweak snarked, still seeing no reason to get up.
"No." Kwazii sulked, crossing his arms like he was indeed 5.
"Oh, my apologies," Tweak put her Switch down and surveyed the man-kitten with a slightly amused expression, "You must be 2."
"You said last week I was 8 or 9!" Kwazii protested.
"I did, but then I realized Pinto and Jane were 8 and 9, and it seemed a bit insulting to them. They're both far more mature than you."
"You're mean." Kwazii turned his back on Tweak like she was supposed to care, "I'm telling the Captain."
"Go ahead." Tweak muttered in a bored voice.
"Fine!" Kwazii got up and "left". In three seconds, an orange head peeked around the corner, "Can I watch you play?"
Tweak rolled her eyes, "Sure, but don't wreck anything in my world. I've spent like 3 nights on this."
"I won't." Kwazii bounded to her eagerly, "Promise."
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------"And done!" Tweak sighed as she put the final touches on the pirate ship that she and Kwazii had made.
"Yarr, t'is a lovely ship, matey!" Kwazii beamed.
"Why, thank you." Tweak answered.
"Can we build one in real life? Like made of cardboard with a crow's nest and a flag, and-" Kwazii rambled on and on about the awesome pirate ship they were going to built together.
"Woah, slow down there, Kwaz." Tweak held up her paws, "Who said it had to be out of cardboard. I have a bit of scrap metal from building the Terra-Gups and I was wondering if you'd like to-"
"AYE!" Kwazii laughed and threw his arms around Tweak's shoulders as she threw him off.
"That. Will never happen again." She growled menacingly.
"Oh, come on Tweaky, you know you love me hugs." Kwazii coaxed.
"No. I. Don't." Tweak's paws tightened around Kwazii's and she began to twist them with all her might as the pirate cat bent over, wincing in pain. "And call me Tweaky one more time..."
"Alright matey, I'm sorry." Kwazii wrenched himself free.
"Good." Tweak replied, right back to her normal, (somewhat) happy self, "Now I think there is someone else we need."
A lightbulb went off in Kwazii's mind, "HAMILTON!" he shrieked.
"Sir, he knows what to do in a trench." Tweak continued for him.
"Ingenuitive and fluent in French I mean,"
"OK, not Hamilton. I mean, this is a big job for two big people, so I suggest we bring in our mini crewmates and maybe build this thing in a night?" Kwazii whooped with glee.
"That's the spirit me hearty! I'm glad we're mates, Tweak."
"Me too, Kwaz." Tweak replied with the most sincere smile she could give him, forgetting their fight only 5 minutes ago, "I'm glad we're friends too. Well, sometimes I do."
