The First Dare

"Everyone!" The Captain stood, paws on his hips in the HQ, "To the Game Pod!" All throughout the Octopod, Octonauts and kids alike were confused. Why the Game Pod of all places? But regardless of how strange the request was, everyone made their way to the Game Pod.

"Captain, why did you ask us to come to the Game Pod?" Peso asked, looking around with wide eyes.

"Well Peso," The Captain rubbed his paws together enthusiastically, "our fans want to hear from us."

"Fans?" Shellington asked dumbfounded, "What fans?"

"Our wonderful fans on Wattpad, of course!" The Captain seemed excited, "Octonauts, don't you remember what we did for Isobel Jones a few years ago?"
Everyone nodded.

"Vividly." Kwazii muttered.

"Well this time, we're doing it again for this "thirdweasleytwin" character, except they'll only be sending the questions and not questioning us in person."

"Harry Potter?!" All the kids and some of the crew exclaimed in incredulous joy.

"Yes," The Captain chuckled, "It seems that this thirdweasleytwin person is as infatuated with Harry Potter as you all are, "Now I've gotten verbal reassurance from them that they've discouraged the people questioning us from sending any inappropriate ones, so Octonauts, are you all ready?"

"Yes sir!"

"Aye, aye, Captain!"

"Ready for anything!"  He smiled at his crew; no, his FAMILY, and uttered the one phrase that would start it all.

"Octonauts, let's do this!"

RainbelisaAwesome: I dare Jane to get full marks on a math quiz.

"No!" Jane launched herself off of the back of the couch, "not happening!" 

"Why not?" The Captain asked, clearly amused at the young dachshund's reaction.

"Because it's not possible."  She retorted.

"I think it is." Shellington piped up, placing a comforting paw on the child's shoulders, "You've got an brilliant mind, I don't see why you won't be able to ace a simple quiz." Jane opened her mouth to protest, but Shellington wasn't going to take any of it.

"And besides, lil matey, you can't go back on a dare!" Kwazii added, much to Jane's annoyance. 

"Come on, quick, quick!" Shellington shepherded the girl into the lab for the quiz he was going to give her. This wasn't going to end well.

1 Hour Later:

Shellington emerged from the lab, muttering in complete shock with Jane trailing behind him, a mischievous spark in her eyes. What on Earth had happened in there? 

"I don't believe it." He shook his head slowly.

"What? Did she fail?" Pinto asked, as Peso began to scold.

"No, actually the opposite, or maybe not. The whole exam was true or false and Jane... well,"

"Chose the opposite of what she was supposed to?" Dashi finished for him, pinching the bridge of her nose, all too familiar with her younger sister's antics.

"Precisely." Shellington sighed, "Alright, to be sure she knows the answer. Jane, what's 12 times 13?"

"156." The little girl, bouncing up and down on the tips of her toes answered after thinking critically about it for a long while.

"I didn't teach her that. And the exam is 100% correct, or 0% correct. She got them all right, but" His words fell into a sigh, "I hope this counts."
