Young Mirabel was playing dress up in her room and she came upon Abuela's wedding dress, she tried it on and looked in the mirror.
Mirabel singed while showing off the dress, 🎵"Here comes the bride, here comes the bride."🎵
Abuela came to her room to get her downstairs for dinner and saw her wearing her wedding dress.
Abuela smiled and said, "You've found my old wedding dress... Looks beautiful on you."
Mirabel smiled and said, "Thank you Abuela, can I have it for my wedding day, please?"
Abuela said, "Of course Mirabel, you know in town a boy named Naquin really likes you maybe you both can get married."
Mirabel had a grossed out face and said,
"Yuck! No way he's a bully and I want a story like you and Abuelo, we fall in love, get married and have our own family.
Abuela said, "How sweet, but love might get complicated and not always go as the way you want... you see my father, my mother and my sisters didn't approve of your Abuelo, they tried to make me marry a man who I didn't love at all, so I had no choice but to runaway..."
There was a flashback
Young Alma and Pedro were meeting with Alma's family
Her father immediately didn't like him at all, Pedro tried everything to make them like him but nothing work.
Her mother brought a suitor for her to marry the next day but Alma packed her stuff and ranaway with Pedro so they can be together.
End of flashback
Mirabel had a tear, Abuela hugged and said,
"There will be obstacles in the way and it was hard for me... but some parts I don't regret I had my three babies and they had all of you."
Mirabel and Abuela hugged, Mirabel changed back to her regular clothes and they went to have dinner.
Mirabel said, "I can go leave the village and find someone."
Abuela said, "Oh Mirabel, your onlu allowed to marry someone from in the village, if others find out about this place, bandits, evil people and much more will cause bad things to happen and to our magic, but don't worry you'll find someone.
Mirabel was still determine to find the right guy and have her dream future even as the years past as she grew into a wonderful woman.
