Unpleasant times/ Naquin's family

In Casita

Abuela was out scolding the villagers who accidentally brought him.

Everyone was cleaning up, getting a late snack and getting the kids to bed.

Isabella and Celeste were having yet another argument.

Isabella said, "I give her freedom and sass is how she repays me."

Valeria said, "I see the villagers calming down and are going to their houses so we're all good now."

Pepa had a rain cloud and said,

"I can't believe it! An outsider! Our magic will be lost! Everything! Mirabel how could you not know he was an outsider!?"

Bruno said, "Pepa calm down please, she didn't know and how were we all suppose to know."

Mirabel said, "Please keep the peace everyone we need to keep our magic strong or else casita will break again."

They nodded and went to their rooms.

But Camilo went up to Mirabel and said, "Mirabel, tomorrow we're going to have a big meeting at breakfast tomorrow and it might not be something you'll like."

He went to his room, Mirabel wondered what's going on, she stayed up a bit late.

Macario was coming to see Mirabel and casita secretly let him in, leading him to Mirabel's room.

He knocked on her door, when Mirabel opened it she quickly pulled him inside and went to check on Dolores.

Dolores was asleep with ear plugs to make sure she sleeps peacefully and no sounds.

Mirabel quickly went to her room and said,

"What are you doing here? You're not even suppose to be here, who knows what they'll do to you."

Macario saidn "It's still worth it as long as I get to see you and don't worry I destroyed my pictures so your secret is still secret."

Mirabel was surprised, "That's wonderful to hear but why are you here to see me?"

Macario said, "Your wonderful, kind, funny, extremely lovely, and for some reason makes my heart go crazy when I think about you even if we did just meet."

Mirabel blushed and said, "Alright... look my family can't know how about I visit you and you visit me but wear a disguise okay."

Macario said, "Okay tomorrow at 4 pm, I'll come visit you."

Mirabel smiled and agreed, Macario left getting excited to see her tomorrow.

The next day

Everyone was having breakfast, Mirabel was very cheerful.

Camilo was trying to find the twins, they were shaking one of Antonio's little animals.

Camilo shouted, "Hey that's not a maraca, stop shaking it!"

They did and laughed running, Dolores was feeding Alex solid food now, Leo jumped out the window to get there faster while shouting still alive almost giving his mothers heart attacks, Valeria got her siblings to sit still, Bruno was glad to still eat with his family again, Mirabel got some food and sat down to eat, Antonio was feeding.

Abuela said, "Okay everyone as we all know the incident is over and we're still safe, now we have a lot to do but not too much to pressure ourselves... Mirabel you are assigned to go into town to meet Naquin's family."

Mirabel said, "What!? No I'm not I'm not going anywhere near him! I tried to tell you all that he's really not a great man, he only wants the candle's power."

Julietta said, "How can you say that? I never knew you were like this and your going rather you like it or not."

Mirabel just got up and left, Luisa went after her, Abuela tried to calm the family down.

Luisa said, "Mirabel, it's gonna be okay."

Mirabel said, "No it's not how would you feel if our family tried to make you be with someone you know is a bad guy and you don't love."

Luisa said, "I know I wouldn't like it but your strong, stronger than me to resist, I don't like the idea of pressuring you to be with someone and it's we aren't the ones who can decide for you, you can make your own decision, I got your back sis like you got mine."

She hugged Mirabel and she hugged back before leaving, she has to wait until 4pm to see Macario again.

Mirabel went to town and saw Naquin and his family.

Naquin said, "Mirabel! Glad you made it, this is my family, my parents, brother, sister, grandmother, aunt and uncle."

Naquin's grandmother said,

"Glad to finally meet you dear, so young, puren beautiful, you will make a wonderful bride and mother."

Mirabel was uncomfortable and they invited her to walk around town with them.

Naquin kept talking all sweet talk and it was very cringe.

Mirabel was not liking it at all but she manage to slip away without them knowing.

A man bumped into her

It was Macario with a fake mustache, a monical, and a really ugly cloak with an ugly hat.

Macario said, "Sorry this is all I could get but since let's go spend time together.

They went on their way.

With Naquin and his family

They were looking for Mirabel because they didn't notice she slipped away.

Naquin's father was furious breaking things around him, his aunt and uncle were furious too which they were cursing so much.

Naquin's mother said,

"How could you let him slip away, look right now just focus on getting her family to agree to have her marry you because no one else was gonna marry the giftless girl, once you marry her, at the reception, poison the grandmother and steal the candle, use it for our own uses, just wait for the proposal and we'll be a step closer to power."

Naquin said, "I won't let you all down down, mother."

Naquin's grandmother said, "Better not because I've been putting up a this sweet act for too long to gain that candle witch's trust, your mother and uncle was useless when she couldn't seduce her children, your brother, sister and cousin couldn't do the same with the grandchildren and now it's all up to you to get that candle."

Naquin said, "I won't fail, once we have the candle everything will the ours, we'll banish the Madrigal family, immortal power will be ours!"

They went on home.
