"These questions are so hard," Papyrus sighed, going over his school work.

"Math always is Paps," Vibe replied amused.

"Sans....." Papyrus whined, pushing his books away.

"Tooo baddddd," Vibe giggled, pushing the books back to his baby brother.

He ignored the hurt of being called Sans, he and Ash had been Sans.. but now he was alone.

He was Sans Alone.

This place did not feel like home, due to the fact Vibe had to get a job to support the two of them they'd had to move much closer to the cities and lived in a rinky dinky rental property. He missed the of the ocean, the sand below his feet.

Home.

Thunder raged outside, one of many out of season storms since the war.

The lights flickered, and he pulled out a candle ready to light it if power went out.

"I think they said they'd be a broadcast tonight, about a lot of the concerns," Vibe said walking to the mana lens, playing with the broadcast crystals till he tuned into the correct channels.

"Urgh... ads," Papyrus said making a face, seeing the screen show ads for bigger companies. Vibe made a face also, the commercials were always so desperate and greedy since the war ended a few months ago just before he turned fifteen.

"ow," Papyrus cried, as a loud pitch filled the air before cutting off, moments later the screen changed to an image of the royal family.

"is that King Asgor your boss?" Papyrus asked curious, having only seen the king in pictures.

"That's him, king fluffybuns," Vibe replied with a grin.

"Sans," Papyrus protested at the name, Vibe giggled.

Papyrus and everyone else thought he was working in the deep achieves for the kingdom, where he would copy the most sacred records before they faded from time. It was a good job, and it gave Vibe a lot of time to think.

It.. just wasn't his only job.

He was the judge, in his three months as Judge he'd only thankfully had to judge against one being so far and there soul had disgusted the easy going skeleton.

"As everyone knows, there is population issues. First my the plague years ago, then by the war and the illness caused by the banned weapons," Queen Toriel was saying, her voice grave. Vibe quickly brought this mind to attention, as this was important.

"What was not as well known, is that the weapons and plague had a side effect in fertility making many infertile and our population will soon have issues if more children are not born soon," King Asgore said, sorrow in his voice. Vibe had a feeling, the only thing keeping the King from falling was his duty to his people and his wife.

"Fertility... they mean babies right?" Papyrus asked confused.

"Yeah bro, not enough babies are being born to support a growing population," Vibe said tightly, he.. had a bad feeling on this.

"As right now, anyone of age or about to be of age will be tested for fertility, we are asking for anyone married and fertile te have more children and if needed taking more then one mate. The crown will support you if you cannot afford this easily, we will be meeting with those deemed fertile to arrange partners to there liking for children," Toriel said.

Vibe swore, swore so bad Papyrus stared at his sibling in shock.

They were talking at about Harems controlled by the crown.

Maybe... he was lucky and not fertile?
