Bruce was hanging in the library by himself, when Anna slid into the chair across from him.
"Need some company?" She asked him
"What makes you think that?" He asked
"Your sitting alone, in the library, at lunch. I don't know, maybe I'm wrong." She shrugged
"Well, you are. I needed to clear my head in a quiet space, this is the quietest place I could find." Bruce answers honestly.
"What's on your mind?" Anna asks
"This isn't weird to you. I mean, maybe I'm overthinking, but just yesterday I was getting ready for the annual surfing competition on our island, and then my parents just drop the bomb that we're moving to America. My dad hates America." Bruce rants
"That is weird, but my parents have been wanting to leave Scotland for as long as I can remember, so," Anna shrugged
"But why now? Why here? Why California? Most immigrants go to New York." Bruce says
"Why not? Your just overthinking, Bruce. Nothing weird is going on here." Anna reassures
"Maybe," Bruce mumbles, looking down at the book in his hand.
"Come with me," Anna stands and holds her hands out for Bruce to grab.
Bruce grabs them and allows her to pull him to his feet, "where are we going?"
"To join the others, I think we should stick together." Anna explains as she pulls Bruce to the cafeteria.
Upon entering the cafeteria, Anna immediately began to pull him in the direction of where Kat, Skylar, and Hawk were sitting.
"You found him," Kat comments, as the two sit down.
"You sent her?" Bruce asked
"We we're all looking, Anna found you first." Skylar answers
"Yeah, where'd you disappear to, man?" Hawk asks
"I needed to clear my head." Bruce says
"Has anyone seen Five?" Kat asks
"I saw him earlier, he was asking about something Bruce had said." Skylar answered
"What did Bruce say?" Anna asked
"You didn't feel it? The energy?" Bruce questioned
"I felt it, I just didn't want to say anything in front of Mr. Richards," Hawk explains
"I felt it too." Anna says
"So what was it?" Skylar asks
"I don't know." Bruce answers
"But it felt... weird." Hawk claims
At the boys words the table fell into a long silence, which was broken by Five.
"Why is everyone looking at me like that?" He asked
