It was the next day, everything seemed gloomier than normal.
Their parents seemed to be nicer as they helped them pack their bags for the trip.
They couldn't help the feeling of dread that had settled into the pit of their stomachs.
They met up at the loading docks, "is it just me or is this a bad ideas?" Skylar asks
"It's a bad idea." Anna says
"It's the only way we're gonna get answers." Bruce says
"Do we really need answers that bad?" Hawk asks
"Yes." Five says
"Let's just get this over with." Kat says, and with that they board the boat.

The group got settled into their rooms and met up on the deck of the yacht.
"This place is awesome," Hawk gushed
"This place is haunted." Kat sneers
Five laughs, "I don't think it's haunted."
"Are we the only ones who remember why we're here?" Skylar asks
"We know why we're here. You don't have to worry about us." Bruce says
The girls went off to explore the boat, while the boys went off to do their own thing.
While exploring, the girls ran into Gerard Van Halen himself.
"Hello, ladies." He greeted
"Hi." The girls timidly said
"Are you enjoying the party?" He asked them
"Yeah, it's fun." Kat lies
"Where are my manners? I am Gerard Van Halen, who might you girls be?" He questioned
"I'm Anna, that's Skylar, and Kat." Anna introduces
The man smiled, but it looked like more of an evil smirk to Kat, "very nice to meet you, girls."
"We have to go, but it was nice to meet you." Kat says, before pulling the others away from the strange man.
"That was weird." Skylar says
"Way weird." Anna agrees
"We have to tell the boys." Kat says
"Wait." Skylar says, causing the girls to stop walking and turn around.
"Do we have to tell them? I mean, they're having the time of their lives, why ruin it?" She says
"Because the sole reason that we got on this death trap in the first place was to figure what that man is planning with us." Kat says
"So, we'll investigate, without the boys." Anna offers
Kat sighed and looked between the two girls, who pulled the puppy dog eyes, "fine. Fine. But I was an innocent bystander in all of this, if anyone asks." Kat says
Skylar smirked, "you mean if Bruce asks."
Kat blushed, "what? No,"
"That blush says otherwise. We all know you two are crushing on each other, it was obvious when you two almost kissed in the library." Anna says
Kat gasped, "you guys saw that?"
"We did." Skylar says
"Ugh." Kat groans
"But it's fine. We'll be sure to tell Bruce that this was our plan and not his." Anna says, earning a glare from Kat.
"Now we have digging to do, so no more Bruce talk." Skylar says
