"Did you hear?" Demetri whispered to Hawk
"Hear what?" Hawk asked
"About the new kids?" Miguel asked
"New kids?" Hawk asked in confusion
Miguel sighed, "are you a child? Do we have to tell you everything?" Demetri questioned
"We're getting five new kids today. They're foreign exchange students." Miguel explained
Hawk nodded in understanding, as Demetri pointed to something behind him.
Hawk turned and that's when he saw them. Five kids talking to the principle.
As Hawk watched them, one of the boys turned his head to meet Hawks gaze, they locked eyes as the boy nudged the girl next to him and nodded towards Hawk.
The girl alerted the rest of the group and now they were all staring at Hawk, who stared right back, before making his way over to them.
"Mr. Richards, what's going on?" Hawk asked, never taking his eyes off the group.
"These are the new foreign exchange students, Eli, this is Skylar, Jakob, Bruce, Katherine, and Anna. Guys, this is Eli." The man introduced the kids
"I go by Hawk," the boy with the Mohawk clarifies
"I go by Five." The boy with the green eyes says
"Five?" The red head asks
"Got a problem, red?" He asks, causing the girl to smirk at him.
"I go be Evie." The raven haired girl speaks
"I'm Kat." The blonde girl says
"I'm just Bruce." The boy with the puppy eyes speaks.
As the kids introduce themselves, they feel a sudden surge of energy rush through them, "did you guys feel that?" Bruce asks
"Feel what?" The principle asks, startling the kids, who forgot he was even there.
"Nothing." Hawk answers.
"I'm gonna show them around the school." He says, leading the other five down the hallway.
"Psst." Bruce turned to face the blonde girl, "I felt it too." She said to him, before following the others, leaving Bruce standing there alone.
