Five and Kat had broken into his dad office, trying to find something, anything.
They had went through all the files in the filing cabinet, they looked through all the drawers on his desk, but found nothing.
They were beginning to lose hope, until Kat caught sight of his laptop sitting onto of the desk. She went to open it, but Five grabbed her hand, "don't." He said
"Why not?" She asked
"We already broke into his office and now you want to go through his computer? No way, not happening." Five shook his head
"Do you want the truth or not?" She asked the boy, making him pull his hand back and let her open the laptop.
She immediately went to his emails, and it was then that they found some sketchy emails between him and some other person.
"What's that?" Five asked, pointing to a folder labeled 'For Your Son.'
Kat clicked on it and it opened up to a boat ticket. Attached was something about a yacht party.
"The hell?" Five questioned
"Look at this, your dad been emailing Gerard Van Halen, he's a famous German scientist, but why he's in business with your dad doesn't make sense." Kat says
"My dad knows nothing about science, he despises it actually," Five says
"Then why?" Kat asks
Kat was about to do some deeper digging, but the front door opening stopped her.
"We have to go." Five says, closing the laptop and grabbing Kats hand and dragging her out the room and into his.
"That was close." Kat heaves
"Yeah, it was. But at least we got answers." Five says
Kat nods in agreement, "do you think my parents are working with him too?" She asks
"I don't know, we have to do more research." Five says
"Jakob, were you on my office?" Five's dad asks, coming into the room.
"Dad, knock," Five exclaims
"Sorry, I didn't know you had company." The man said
"This is Katherine, and no I wasn't in your office." Five says
"Do you know if your mom was here?" The man asks
"No, but me and Kat were just heading out, I'll be back in time for dinner." Five says walking past his dad, and out the house, Kat right behind him.
"That was definitely weird." Kat says as soon as they get out the house.
"I told you." Five says, as he unlocks the car doors and they get in.
"Now, off to your house." Five says
"I'll give you the directions."

On their way to Kats, they passed Bruce and Skylar, walking back to Bruce's from the beach.
Five stopped to pick them up, and Lat let them in on what they had found at Fives house, and how they were on their way to Kats to see if their really was something strange going on.
"This man, do you think he paid our parents to move us here?" Bruce asks
"Why would he? I mean, we're all from different places." Skylar answers
"Me and Five have the same birthday." Kat says
"What?" The other three in the car ask.
"I saw it while I was on your dads computer. March 16th, 2006." Kat says
Bruce furrowed his brows, "that's my birthday."
"Mine too." Skylar says
"See, this isn't just some random coincidence. Something strange is going on here." Five says, as they pull into Kats driveway.
"Only one way to find out." Bruce says as they all step out of the car.
They made their way up to the door, and Kat bent down and pulled a key out from under the mat, and unlocked the door, letting everyone in.
She didn't see her moms car in the driveway but her dad could still be home, "dad, are you here?" No response.
With that, she ushered everyone into her moms office.
"Alright, so what are we looking for?" Skylar asked
Bruce shrugged, "I guess we'll know when we see it."
The others went for the filing cabinets, while Kat went through her desk. All the drawers didn't have anything that they were looking for, but the last one was locked.
"Sky, do you have a Bobby pin?" Kat asked the other girl in the room.
Skylar pulled a Bobby pin out from her ponytail and gave it to Kat, who immediately picked the lock.
When she got the drawer open, she found six files, one with each of their names on it.
"Guys," she called
The others came to her side and looked into the drawer. Seeing the files, Five paled, Skylar gasped, and Bruce grabbed one.
He opened it and saw that this woman had been gathering intel on him for months, the others opened theirs and found the same thing.
"Why does she have these?" Kat whispered
"It looks like she was stalking us." Skylar says
"Did you know about this?" Five asks Kat
"No. I'm just as shocked as you all." Kat answers
"Why does your mother have files on us?" Bruce asks the girl
"I don't know. This doesn't make any sense." Kat says
Five reaches a realization, "the laptop. That's where we found the most dirt on my dad," he says
"She takes that thing with her everywhere." Kat shakes her head
"What about that one?" Skylar asks motioning to the desktop in the corner.
"That's my dads." Kat says
"Good." Bruce says walking over to it. He powered it on, but there was a password.
"What's the password?" He asks
"Try my birthday, our birthday." Kat says
Bruce enters the date, and the computer unlocks, "we're in." He says
"Go to his emails." Five says, looking over Bruce's shoulders.
Bruce complies and opens the app, and just like on Fives dads computer, there were suspicious emails.
"It looks your dad was in contact with the same man mine was." Five says
"And he paid your mother to gather intel in us." Skylar says
"And he sent a boat ticket, to his yacht party." Bruce says
"What the hell are you doing in here?"
