Mocha's POV:

I awoke to a knock on the door,followed by the ring of my doorbell,I stumbled out of bed and opened the door,still with messy fur. I woke up more when I saw Cocoa at my door,they seemed nervous so I let them in. I would walk into my kitchen and begin to make a drink.

"What got you up so early?"

"I wanted to talk to you about something."

"I'm all ears!"

Cocoa sighed nervously and began.

"I thought about what you said and.."

"And?"

"I'm ready to come out."

I got a tad confused.

"Come out as what?"

"Trans."

My ears perked up,I turned to cocoa and smiled.

"That's amazing he/him now?"

"If that's alright with you."

"Of course!"

I sat down with the drinks and passed one to cocoa, giving a giggle of amusement.

"Do you wanna change your name at all?"

"No,I still like the name Cocoa,you're the first person I've told,I'm a little nervous to confront my siblings about it."

"Well I'm sure they will support you!"

There was a knock on the door,I grew excited and walked over,my tail wagged as I opened the door.

"nice to see ya sister!"

"Hello Macchi! Oh,Cocoa meet Macchi. She is my sister. Macchi this is Cocoa, he is my best friend!"

Macchi walked over and dipped her head.

"It's nice to meet you Cocoa,I'm Macchiato but everyone calls me Macchi."

"Nice to meet you Macchi!"

I walked to the kitchen and looked at my kin.

"Do you want something to drink sis?"

"Do you have oran juice?"

"Yep let me get that for ya right quick!"

I listened to them talk back and forth introducing each other and talking about where they came from,how they feel.

"What made you evolve into a flareon?"

"I just wanted something big enough to hide my face in. Our parents were showing us the Eeveelutions when it came the day they wanted us to evolve and I liked the idea of having a big. Fluffy tail and tuft to comfort me,heh."

"Well I think I wanna evolve into an Espeon,elegance and psychic abilities? What's not to love."

I would walk back over and sit the cup down Infront of my sister,taking my seat next to Cocoa. I sipped the coffee I made for myself and began.

"I personally wanna evolve into a leafeon. I enjoy how graceful they look,and my mom was one too."

"Leafeons are really pretty!"

I rubbed my cheek against cocoa and stood up.

"Do you wanna tell your siblings yet?"

"I think I'm ready,yeah."

I walked over to the door,cocoa nervously walked beside me. I looked at Macchiato.

" You can stay here for the time being. I'ma go help cocoa announce something to his siblings."

"Got it!"

We left the house and began our walk,I could tell Cocoa was a bit nervous but I sat by his side. The walk was a little long but gave me time alone with him. I enjoyed spending time with Cocoa,He just always needs someone there for him and I don't mind taking that role. If I needed to I'd do it forever just to make sure he doesn't feel alone.
We finally came across Cocoa's house.

I looked at him and watched as he stepped back nervously,his face began to shrink into his tuft like a Squirtle retreating into its shell. I lightly pushed him up and knocked on the door. It opened up and facing us was Coffee.

"Nice to see ya Mocha,Cocoa. How are y'all?"

"Well Cocoa has something he would like to tell y'all!"

Cocoa already had his face hidden in the large fluffy collar around his neck and a muffled voice spoke through it. Coffee held a confused look,unable to understand a single word.

"A he-ben-neh-neh what?"

"Cocoa is trans now,he wishes to go by he/him."

I calmly said,sitting beside cocoa who was melting in embarrassment.

"Finally I got a brother,heh."

Coffee playfully teased,latte walked over and tilted her head.

"What's this about having a brother?"

"Cocoa is our brother now!"

It took a minute to put it together but eventually she got it.

"Oh, That's great to hear Cocoa!"

I glanced to Cocoa and smiled rubbing my cheek against his. He smiled softly,glad to have gotten the stress off his back, he giggled slightly as coffee and latte held smug looks.

"Are y'all dating yet?"

Coffee laughed,latte chuckled at coffee's comment. I'd sit up and calmly reply.

"So what if we are?"

Everyone went silent after that. Cocoa was as red as a slugma, they instantly hid their face in their tuft,turning around and dashing off. I looked at his siblings and winked while walking off after Cocoa.

"Ohmygodohmygodohmygod."

I walked in seeing Cocoa pushing his tuft into his face. I sat down and looked over to Cocoa.

"You alright Cocoa?'

"Why did you say that?!"

"It was just a joke,I'm sure they don't think we are actually dating."

Cocoa flattened his body on the floor,whimpering. I stood and layed Infront of him.

"Come on Cocoa,don't let this drag ya down it will be alright. I can go back and tell them I was joking if you want me to."

"It's fine just don't do it again alright.."

"Got it."

I giggled tapping them on the nose with a soft smile towards them. They relaxed themselves deeper on the floor. I stood up after looking at them for a minute or two and turned to my sister.

"So how was Alola?"

"Amazing, I met so many new Pokémon there!"

I talked to my sister on and on for a while,drinking oran juice while I did, I looked outside and realized the sun was setting,I stood and walked over to Cocoa.

"Sun setting' you should probably begin to head home at this time."

"Yeah,thanks for letting me stay for the day,have a good night to you and your sister!"

I open the door and watch as he leaves,he heads for his house as the sun sets and the moon rises. I walk back inside and plop into my bed, I look at the ceiling as I drift off,my eyes grow heavy and shut.
