Fun Facts About Nova and Divakar! (In no particular order, part 2)

Nova fidgets a lot, and ends up falling into patterns. For example;
Foot tapping? She's relaxed/content.
Tapping her fingers? She's bored.
Bouncing on her heels? Happy or excited.
Pacing? Thinking.
Fiddling with her sleeves? Nervous/Unsure/doesn't know what to say.

Divakar on the other hand doesn't fidget a lot. But he does occasionally pace.

On the subject of subconscious patterns, Nova's ears are very animated. They move with her moods. Divakar's ears twitch once in awhile, but are otherwise still as can be.

Their tails act like normal animal tails, and are another indicator of their emotions.

Their eyes can and will slit like cat's when their in fight mode (and for a while after, until they've calmed down).

They both have cat-like tendencies, Divakar notices it in Nova (and himself though he denies it). Just something that happens after being experimented on with animal blood.

Nova purrs whenever someone hugs her, or scratches her on the head, or basically whenever she's shown affection. Divakar on the other hand is a lot less likely to purr. Unless you literally starch behind his ears.

Nova gets the cat Zoomies on occasion.

Divakar has a habit of trying brush his fingers through Nova's hair/that motherly habit of licking his finger and wiping dirt off her face (like mother cat). She hates it with a seething passion, but once in awhile just let's her brother do it.

If Nova was ever exposed to a cat laser she would chase it. She would also get distracted by cat toys.

Nova and Divakar have and will pile onto each other to sleep.

Divakar curses a LOT when he gets angry. He does not realize how much he curses.

Nova has not swore before (not even saying weak ones 'hell' or 'crap') but can if she desires.

Divakar would lose it and try to find out who taught his sister how to swear. He would probably blame it on the desert twins.

Nova's favorite drink is Orange Juice. Would absolutely love chocolate milk too, but doesn't know what it is/hasn't tried it.

Nova is deathly allergic to grapes. They found this out before they were in the lab. Both of the siblings try and make sure she never even touches something with grapes in it.

Divakar has once handed Nova raisins instead of nuts by accident. Was confused why she was just staring at him for a solid minute until he realized.

Nova has a cute giggle that turns into a laughing fit. But she rarely giggles unless she's really relaxed and happy.

Divakar did have a gun at one point, despite barely having ammo for it.

The camp they had set up before they took the job (RP) was raided while they were scavenging for tools and food one day. They struggled for a while after that until they found the Joker's ad. The raid is also how Divakar lost his gun (he had left it behind because he didn't have ammo anyway).

Nova unaware of gender and sexuality terms and what they mean, and not in a dismissive way. She just really has no clue about that stuff. She only uses pronouns because she mimicked the speech patterns of other people.

Nova is actually very good at mimicking peoples speech patterns and bony language. Unfortunately this has come off as mocking from time to time.

If Divakar were to realize just how little of a grasp on social concepts Nova has he would probably break down and spend the next 24 hours kicking himself.

Nova's mimicking is one of the reasons Divakar hasn't noticed that there are a lot of common things she doesn't understand.

It's never occurred to Nova that she's allowed to question these things. Heck, back at the lab she was hardly allowed to speak.

I am writing Nova to be autistic coded, if anyone has failed to notice.

Divakar isn't the best cook and burns things often.

Nova doesn't really notice because while she can taste the difference between food he made and food they traded for, she doesn't know which one was made "correctly" and doesn't want to offend him.
