Narrator pov

The next day arrives and Y/n was waking up from her slumber.

Y/n pov

I opened my eyes, stretched my arms, and then rubbed my eyes.

I saw that it was morning.

"Morning already" I say while letting out a yawn.

I took off my pajamas and got into the clothes I brought from my house yesterday.

"What time is it?" I ask myself.

I saw my phone on the table, I picked it up and saw that it was 9 o'clock.

Then my stomach growled.

"Man I'm hungry" I say.

"Let's see what 2D has that I can make for breakfast" I say while heading to the kitchen.

I looked in the refrigerator, freezer, and cabinets but saw that 2D didn't have nothing to make for breakfast.

"I guess 2D has to go to the grocery store or something" I thought to myself.

Then I heard my phone ring.

I went to see who was calling and saw that it was Merissa.

"Oh, it's Merissa" I say while stepping outside.

Narrator pov

After Y/n stepped outside.

{Y/n and Merissa's phone conversation}

"Hey Merissa" says Y/n.

"Hey Y/n how did everything go last night?" Merissa asks.

"Oh, we had a lot of fun" Y/n says happily.

"Really, tell me everything" Merissa says in excitement.

"Well, we played Mario Kart which we both tied, then we got to know each other a little and we had pizza" Y/n says happily.

"Wow, so what did 2D say about himself?" Merissa asks in curiosity.

"Well he told me the story of how he joined the Gorillaz and how he got his nickname 2D" Y/n say.

"Oh cool, can you tell me?" Merissa asks in excitement.

"Alright" Y/n say.

So Y/n tells Merissa everything that 2D told her last night.

And after getting done.

"Wow, that's hard to believe" Merissa says in shock.

"Yeah I know" Y/n nodded.

"It's sad to hear that he's went through alot" Merissa says sadly.

"Yeah it was" Y/n says sadly.

"So, did you tell him about yourself" Merissa asks in curiosity.

"Yeah I did" Y/n say.

"If you don't mind me asking, what did you tell him?" Merissa asks in curiosity.

"Well, not much but...I did tell him the story of my parents" Y/n said sadly.

"Oh, you did?" Merissa asks in shock.

"Yeah" Y/n nodded.

"I'm surprised you told him the story" says Merissa.

"Well at first I wasn't going to but, when we went to my house I was getting some clothes and he was looking at the pictures I have on my shelf, then I guess he saw the picture of me and my parents together, then he asked me if I was close with them and that's how I told him the story"
Y/n say.

"Wow I'm surprised you told him the story you usually don't wanna talk about them" says Merissa.

"I know but, for some reason I felt ok talking about it with him, not sure why but it's true" says Y/n.

"Ohhh I think I know" Merissa says while smirking.

"What do you mean?" Y/n asks in confusion.

"You're in love with him" Merissa says teasingly.

"Merissa, what have I told you" Y/n says annoyingly.

"What, I'm just saying the truth" Merissa says while giggling.

"Ok, moving on so what are you up to?" Y/n ask trying to change the subject.

"Well, I was wanting to see if you wanted to come over and have breakfast with me unless you already ate at 2D's house" says Merissa.

"No I haven't eaten, I was gonna make breakfast for both me and 2D but he didn't have anything to make for breakfast, so yeah I can come over"
Y/n say with a smile.

"Awesome, you can invite 2D as well if he likes" says Merissa.

"He hasn't woken up yet, but sure I'll ask him when he does" says Y/n.

"Alright, I'll see you soon" says Merissa.

"See ya" says Y/n.

Y/n pov

After I put my phone in my pocket I walked back inside and saw 2D sitting in the living room.

"Oh 2D, good morning" I say with a smile.

"Good morning love" 2D says happily.

"Did you just wake up?" I ask.

"Yeah, so why were you outside?" 2D asks in curiosity.

"Oh, Merissa was calling me, I didn't wanna wake you, so I stepped outside" I say.

"Oh ok" 2D nodded.

"So, what is she up to?" 2D asks in curiosity.

"She invited me to her house to have breakfast and she also said that you're invited to" I say with a smile.

"That's nice of her" 2D says happily.

"Yeah, so why don't we get ready and we'll head to her house" I say.

"Sounds like a plan love" says 2D.

After Y/n and 2D got themselves cleaned up they walked outside, 2D locked the door, and they started to head over to Merissa's house.
