Y/n pov

Me and Merissa arrived to the Karaoke Bar and their was alot of people their either eating or dancing on the floor.

A waiter took us to our booth and we sat down. Merissa orders a root beer while I ordered a sweet tea. After the waiter walked away to go get our drinks me and Merissa started talking.

"Do I look messy since I'm still in the clothes that I wore at work today?" you asked.

"Nah you look perfect Y/n in fact I bet it won't be long until guys start looking at you" Merissa says teasingly.

"Merissa stop it" you say feeling embarrassed. Merissa starts laughing.

After Merissa stopped laughing she still kept talking about guys.

"I'm serious though Y/n I mean I don't blame them for looking at you, your so beautiful, your hard working, and kind" Marissa says sincerely.

"Well thanks Merissa but I don't think any guy would want to be with me" you say sadly.

"Why you say that?" Merissa asks with a frown.

"I don't know I guess from where I never had a boyfriend before I think it's pretty much telling me that I'm meant to be single forever" you say while looking down.

"Y/n any guy would be lucky to have you and guys don't see that is not worthy of your time" says Merissa.

"Yeah maybe but I don't know" you say feeling unsure.

"Well I think so, my mom used to tell me that when you wait a long time it will be worth it" says Merissa.

"Really?" you ask.

"Yeah, so think positive" Merissa says in confident.

"Thanks Merissa" you say smiling.

So the waiter came back with our drinks and we ordered our meals, while waiting for our food Merissa and me kept trying to figure out what song we should sing.

"What song should we sing?" Merissa asks in curiosity.

"I don't know" you say while thinking.

"Oh how about we sing give it up by Ariana Grande and Elizabeth Gillies?" Merissa suggested.

"Oooooooo yeah I love that song" you say in excitement.

"Alright it's settled I'll go sign us up and we'll start singing" says Merissa in excitement.

"Alright so I'll sing Elizabeth Gellies parts and you sing Ariana Grande parts" you say in excitement.

"Sounds like a plan" Merissa saids while giving me two thumbs up.

So Merissa went up to the Karaoke Jockey and signed up both of us to sing Give It Up as a duet.

Then Merissa comes back and sits back down.

"Alright we're all set all we have to do is wait after the next song is over and it will be our turn" says Merissa.

"Awesome" you say while giving Merissa two thumbs up.

I was at the Karaoke Bar sitting at a table enjoying the pizza I ordered.

"They sure make good pizza here, wish I came here sooner" I say chuckling to myself.

After I got done with my pizza the waiter took my plate and gave me a refill on my drink.

"I think I'm gonna chill here for a while and watch other people sing since I got nothing else to do"

The song that was playing was ending I wondered to myself to who is gonna sing next and what song they chose to sing.

Y/n pov

"Oh the song just ended that means it's our turn we better get up their" I say while getting up.

"Let's go" Merissa says in excitement.

So me and Merissa walked up to the stage and got in our positions.

"Ladies and gentlemen up next we have Merissa and Y/n singing Give It Up by Ariana Grande and Elizabeth Gillies" says the Karaoke Jockey.

Then the Karaoke Jockey started the music.

My eyes widen when I saw the next singers getting ready to sing.

I was love struck when I saw one of the girls that has h/c hair and e/c eyes.

"Who's that?" I wondered to myself
