2D pov

Me and the others were in the waiting room.

I couldn't help but worry about Y/n, I was so scared that I couldn't sit still, so I was pacing around the room.

"2D, chill out" says Murdoc.

"I can't help it Murdoc my girlfriend is getting her tonsils removed" I say in worry.

"I know but still, chill out" says Murdoc.

"Murdoc, don't tell him what to do" Merissa says while glaring at Murdoc.

"Alright, that's enough you guys" says Russell.

"Sorry Russell" says Merissa.

"But I can understand why you're worried man, if I had a girlfriend she had to get her tonsils removed, I'd be worried to" says Russell.

"Don't worry 2D, Y/n is gonna be fine" says Noodle.

"I hope so" I say while trying to smile.

Then Y/n's Dad came up to me and placed his hand on my shoulder.

"Stuart, I promise you that my daughter is gonna be fine, but I'm counting on you to take care of her while she recovers" says Y/n's Dad.

"You have my word mister L/n" I say in a sincere tone.

Then we heard someone walk in and it was two guys.

Merissa pov

I was surprised to see that Adam and Chris came.

"Oh, Adam what a surprise" I say in a shock tone.

"And Chris, what are you doing here?" I ask annoyingly.

"Hi Merissa" Chris says while taking a seat next to me.

"Adam told me that your friend Y/n was getting her tonsils removed, so I came to see if she was ok" says Chris.

"Is that all?" I ask sarcastically.

"And to see you" Chris says with a cheeky smile.

"Good grief" I say while face palming.

Then I look at Adam, and to my surprise he was carrying a bouquet of colorful flowers in his hands.

I was hoping they were for me, so I asked while blushing.

"Hey Adam, who are those flowers for?" I ask in a shy tone.

"Oh, their for Y/n" Adam says with a soft smile.

I was disappointed that they weren't for me, but I know he's being a good friend to Y/n which made me happy.

2D pov

"Hey Merissa, do you know them?" I ask in curiosity.

"Yes, these are some people I work with, this is Adam and Chris" Merissa says while gesturing to Adam and Chris.

"Woah, are you the Gorillaz?" Chris asks in excitement.

"Yes we are, I'm Murdoc the bassist and this is Russell the drummer, Noodle the guitarist, and 2D the singer" Murdoc says while gesturing to us.

"Wow, I'm a fan of you guys" Chris says in excitement.

"Well, thank you very much" I say.

"So, what are you all doing here, do you know Merissa and Y/n?" Adam asks in curiosity.

"Yes, were all friends but I'm Y/n's boyfriend" I say.

"Wait, you're Y/n's boyfriend?" Adam asks in shock.

I nodded.

I could've sworn that I saw some jealousy in Adam's eyes, but maybe I was just imagining so I shook it off.

"And who are you guys?" Adam asks while looking at Y/n and Merissa's parents.

"These are my parents Elizabeth and Mark" Merissa says while gesturing to her parents.

"And we're Y/n's parents my name is (Your Mom's name) and this is my husband (Your Dad's name) says Y/n's Mom.

"Oh, well it's nice to meet you" says Adam.

"So, are they doing the surgery right now?" Chris asks.

"Yeah" Merissa nodded.

"I remembered when I had to get my tonsils removed, it sucked" says Chris.

"Oh boy, here we go" Merissa says while shaking her head.

"Now Merissa be nice" says Elizabeth.

Merissa crossed her arms looking annoyed.

I wonder why, I guess I'll ask some other time because I'm more worried about my girlfriend right now.

Narrator pov

After an hour went by, the doctor finally walks in the waiting room.

2D pov

"Family of Y/n L/n" the doctor says.

We all got up and I walked over to the doctor with a worry look on my face.

"Doctor, how did the surgery go?" I ask worryingly.

"The surgery was a success" the doctor says while smiling.

We all smiled and we're relieved.

"Y/n will be waking up soon, and once she does you can take her home, just make sure she gets alot of rest" says the doctor.

"Don't worry doctor I will" I say.

"And also try to make sure she rests her voice as much as possible" says the doctor.

"Right" I nodded.

"How long does she need to rest?" Merissa asks.

"For a week" says the doctor.

I nodded.

Then the doctor lead us to the room
Y/n was in, when we walked in I saw my girlfriend still sleeping.

I sat on the chair that was next to the bed and gently took Y/n's hand in mine.

The doctor walks in with a wheelchair.

"Here's a wheelchair that you can use for Y/n, since she'll be to tired to walk" the doctor says quietly.

"Thank you doctor" Y/n's Mom says quietly.

"When she wakes up, please let me know" says the doctor.

I nodded.

After the doctor walked out, I gently rubbed Y/n's forehead with my other hand while smiling softly.

I'm so happy that the surgery was a success.
