Chapter 9

I end up sleeping in again. Must've been tired from last night. I feel that feather again. Feeling it at my feet. I giggle a bit, I know it's tails waking me up again. I do wake up and yep I was right.
Tails: Slept in again
Shad: Ik ik
Tails: I'll do this everytime u do
Shad: alright, I need a alarm then haha
Tails: maybe u do
I just get ready, just dragging my foot on the carpet cause that feeling wasn't going away. I just tried ignoring it. Apparently, tails has a full day planned. We go out to the town and shop for a bit. I buy some stuff and stay close to tails. I can't ever stay separated from him. We leave the shop and grab lunch. Then he mentioned that the carnival is coming. I agree to come along. We stayed home then went to it. It was well lit, games, food, music and a Ferris wheel. We start by playing some games. I kept looking at the wheel. Feeling in my gut saying don't do it. I just try to ignore it. We then get some snacks and sit down.
T: hey, you ok?
Sh: yea yea
We get in line for the wheel and my heart goes up a bit. We sit in a car and move up a bit. Just fidgeting a bit. How could I forget? My fear of heights coming back. I try to hide it.
T: What's wrong
Sh: scared of heights
T: hey, look at the sunset, focus on that.
It was indeed beautiful. All the colors and everything. I find myself relaxing, I guess it did work. I snug close to him, he's very soft and comforting. I feel him petting my head slowly, I just purrr. Feels so nice. I tp us home and just snug on the bed. I was laying on my side in his lap.
