"Alex!"
He chuckled, barely giving either of you time to catch your breath before capturing your lips with his again, kissing you deeply. His arm was wrapped around you, his chest pressed up against yours and one hand at the back of your head so you wouldn't be pressed so roughly against the brick wall behind you.
"Mmm, this was your idea" you mumbled against his lips, your hand cupping the back of his neck, nails scratching lightly over the fuzz on his head and you sighed, eyes fluttering shut automatically again when he didn't cave and you kissed him back needily, parting your lips slightly to let his tongue find its way to yours, deepening the kiss.
Your fingers traveled up his back, pushing up his shirt and tracing soft patterns across his skin, pulling him closer against you and kissing him harder, giggling when he was the one to pull back and take a breath, panting from the intensity of the kiss.
Your eyes opened again, sighing when he rested his forehead against yours, laughing breathily. "I fink it's time for the picnic now..." he spoke softly.
You laughed, scratching the back of his head. "Mmm, yeah? You think?" You teased.
"Yeh, I fink ... yeh've got teh lead the weh..." He slowly stepped back and you brushed your hair back from your face, fixing your dress and picking up the picnic basket from the ground, worried about its contents as Alex had dropped it not quite so delicately when he'd decided that he'd prefer a make out session against the wall outside your place.
"Alright" you laughed, your own breathing still a little heavy as you pushed yourself off the wall and grabbed his hand, leading him down the driveway and heading down the street towards the forest.
"It's so beautiful 'ere..." he said absently as he let his gaze wander, turning his head to where the sun was shining through the spaces between the trees, throwing shade onto the ground where the leaves crunched under both your steps.
"Where we're going you can almost see the beach" you told him. "And there's this beautiful clearing like an insanely pretty flower garden. I've showed you those photos, right?"
Alex nodded, smiling as his gaze came to rest on you and he squeezed your hand gently in his. "Yeh 'ave told meh quite a lot about it..." he smiled.
You rolled your eyes at yourself, knowing you had a tendency to ramble on about something over and over again until you yourself forgot about it while someone else had heard and remembered the same story a million times. "Sorry" you grinned.
Alex waved it off. "No, no, I love 'earin' yeh talk 'bout summat yeh're excited about, tha knows?"
You nudged his hip playfully with yours, leaning up to press a kiss to his jaw. "I love you."
The colour in his cheeks intensified and he looked down at his boots, smiling shyly. "I love yeh too" he said. It was beyond you how that still made him blush, how it made him a little insecure as if he didn't really believe you and it was strange to see him go from confident to shy in the blink of an eye. But it was cute nonetheless.
"I think I've posted some photos of it too actually ... but of course you wouldn't know!" You added with a smirk.
He rolled his eyes. "Well, I'll prefer seein' it wif me own eyes properleh" he chuckled, licking his lips. "Don't need no social platforms me..."
"Alright, grandpa" you teased, intertwining your fingers with his. "Never have to worry about annoying people with online PDA with you."
Alex chuckled. "And isn't tha' much nicer?"
You sighed dramatically, leaning your head against his shoulder. "Mmmm, sometimes. Even if you wanted to be public about a relationship, you couldn't ... does make me feel like a bit of a secret."
