Y/n's pov (a year later)

I put on my dress that I had planned for the day, and I sprayed some perfume on.

I looked at myself in the mirror and I smiled.

I love this dress.

Meanwhile in Dans pov

I poured myself a cup of coffee when the coffee machine was done.

I sighed as I sat down, rubbing my face so I don't look tired.

I pulled my phone out of my pocket and I scrolled through Twitter for a bit until I had to get ready to leave.

I got in my car and I put the key in the ignition and the engine stalled for a second.

I hit my head on the wheel before I tried again.

The engine turned over and I gave a sigh of relief.

I drove to the office.

When I got there I parked my car and I saw y/n in a beautiful dress, talking to Vernon.

Right when I saw y/n, I immediately woke up.

I grabbed my keys and got out of my car, I closed the door and walked up to y/n.

"Hey, y/n."

She smiled as she looked at me.

"Hey, Danny, how are you?"

I smiled "I'm great, what about you?"

"I'm having a great day."

I nodded "I noticed, that's a nice dress."

She smiled and blushed as she went quiet "...thanks."

"Thank you." She said again.

"Hey do you want to be in a video tomorrow? We haven't had a guest in forever."

She giggled and started singing "Y/n, is our guest on the show, and the show is the name is GuestGrumps."

"What will we be doing?"

"I don't know yet, but I can guarantee the Arin knows."

She nodded "Ah, now I know it's a ten minute power hour."

I smiled.

"How did you know?"

She raised her eyebrow at me.

"Because in a ten minute power hour, you "never know what's going on." She said, using her fingers as air quotes.

"But in reality, you always know, you just play dumb for the camera."

"What are we doing today Dan? I have no idea." She said, smiling as she jokingly mocked us.

Arins pov

Suzy came running in excitedly.

"Hey Arin, look out your office window." Suzy said as she opened the blind.

I look out and I see Dan talking to y/n, like he is every morning.

"Yeah? He's just socializing with y/n."

I noticed that y/n was wearing a dress and that Dan couldn't stop looking at her.

"Oh."

Suzy nodded.

"He fell in love with her." She said, looking at them.

"Get y/n in here." I said.

Suzy nodded and walked out.

About five minutes later, y/n came into my office.

"Hey y/n, how are you?" I asked as I wrote something down.

"Good, why do you need to talk to me?"

"I've noticed the things that Dan has been doing lately, is he making you uncomfortable?"

She shook her head "No, no, no, just the opposite, he's been so nice lately, and it's very comforting."

I nodded, processing what she was saying.

"Alright, but if he -or anyone, really- was making you uncomfortable, you would tell me, right?"

She nodded "Yes, of course."

Her phone dinged and she looked at it "I gotta go, coffee orders."

I nodded "Alright, you can go."

Dans pov

I've been having more good days ever since I hired y/n, she's so helpful, and her office is so... amazingly decorated. I always find myself looking at her office just because it looks so aesthetically pleasing, and right now, y/n came back from getting coffee and she gave me my cup.

"Thank you, y/n."

She smiled "You're welcome, Dan."

She walked away to Arins' office, and I got a little curious about the meeting they had.

What did he say to her earlier?

After y/n came back out of his office, I walked in.

He was thinking, and he probably didn't even notice me walk in.

"What did you two talk about earlier?"

He looked up at me.

"Hey, Dan."

"Answer my question, dude."

"I was making sure that she was feeling alright, she looked a bit annoyed."

I took a drink of my coffee.

"Okay." I said before walking out.
