"Excuse me?" Hestia said as Marcus looked at everything else besides her, the trio were sitting in the Gryffindor Common Room when Marcus was ushered in by the twins, both giving Hestia a signtaure wink. "Hestia would you like to go on a date with me at Hogsmeade? It's our first trip together as an engaged couple after all." Hestia felt the excitement she had fall into the pit of her stomach, of course, it was all for the act, she noticed the worried looks of Ron and the annoyed look of Hermione, "Of course Marcus I'd love to go to Hogsmeade with you."

Marcus was going back to his common room when Ron ran up to him, seemingly out of breath. "Ah Weasley, what seems to be the matter?" Marcus had his guard up, he knew Hestia had forgiven Ronald, but she was not good at Legilimency, "Why do you keep doing this to her man?" Ron asked, an angry look on his face and his arms crossed. Marcus, rightly confused as to what he was doing wrong looked back at Ron with a slack face, Ron's demeanor changed to absolute shock, "You really don't know do you?" Shaking his head Marcus answered back, "Know what? What am I supposed to know?" "She's in love with you Marcus. Hermione said they've already told you this back at Grimmauld Place, the fact that you are both 'engaged' fake or not, makes her heart skip a beat every time you do something remotely romantic. But you kill all of her hope when you start with the 'It's all for the ruse'. Let me tell you something Flint, even after you defeat Voldemort, my family, my mother especially, and Dumbledore, and the rest of the meddling adults in our life, are not going to leave her alone if you tell people that you guys are 'breaking up'. They are just going to find someone for her to marry that's firmly in their beliefs, and the protection you have by being with her, goes away. They will pin anything on you if it will mean you two aren't together. Just think about what you are doing, her feelings aren't going to change just because you aren't going to acknowledge it."

"Is the plan all ready Bellatrix?" Voldemort asked as he looked up from his book, the witch that stood in front of him nodded vigorously, her dark curls falling onto her face, putting his hands together he smiled, "Good job everyone...this Saturday we shall execute our plan, I want those twins."

Saturday came too quickly for Marcus, since he and Ron spoke, everytime he was near Hestia, he kept watching her, something he did when he first found out she liked him. She always seemed to find her way to him he noticed, be it her eyes trailed to him during breakfast or lunch when they had different schedules, or during supper as they sat together and she needed physical comfort. Ron was right, she did love him, how didn't he think that he had made the situation from Grimmauld place worse, dressing up in a pair of his black trousers and a button up shirt Marcus checked himself one more time in the mirror before tousling his hair and donning a coat since the snow was getting thick. Waiting outside the Gryffindor dorm, he knew that he was drawing the attention of most of the female populace, the painting finally swung open, and Ron and Hermione walked out first, both also in long coats and warm hats, they hadn't noticed him yet, so when Hestia walked out, Marcus was frozen in his spot. She had on a pair of form fitting black leggings, a dark green skirt and a forest green long shirt. She wore a small yet dainty looking necklace that he remembered Remus gave her, and the engagement ring was all that she wore. Coughing to get their attention he strode up to the group holding her hand in his as she smiled up at him "Ready for our date Hestia?" She looked confused, as there was no one around, and Hermione and Ron both knew it was a hoax, "We're going to Madame Rosemerta's for some breakfast, if you're coming in with me I hardly think there would be an issue. And then to Honeydukes for whatever your heart desires and lastly we will meet up with Ron and Hermione for butterbeer?" The trio nodded, it was a good plan, so with a flourish of coats they were on their way.

The date was going really well, Marcus was attentive the entire time, even though they spent practically every waking moment together, he still listened to her talk about her day, asking about her classes and if she needed help with any of the loads of homework Snape had assigned them or even worse Umbride. They were surprised she didn't have an issue with the students going out to Hogsmeade on weekends, but if they looked at it, the town made most of its money during these school visits. As they were walking out of Honeydukes, they noticed the twins, Fred and George, be followed out of Zonko's joke shop, the person following them seeemed to be trying their hardest not to be noticed, or even be caught by the smallest creature. Curiously, the pair followed, watching as the man was joined by one more, then two more then three more...the twins were heading for a trap, before the men could attack them, Hestia and Marcus ran out "Stupefy!" "Stupefy!" Came their calls to two of the men. There were 5 left, but by now Fred and George had realized what was happening and had already stunned 2 more of the men. Three faces stood out to Hestia and Marcus, two of the men were Rabastan and Rodolphus Lestrange, and the last was Marcus's father. The older Flint stared at the couple with a sneer as he noticed the engagement ring on Hestia's finger, "You shall regret this Marcus, joining her side. Betraying us, the Dark Lord has plans, and you best be ready." Seeing adults that had noticed the commotion, 6 of the Death Eaters were able to disappear, save one who Hestia had knocked out cold. Looking at his fiancée, Marcus rubbed his head, "One hell of a way to end a date huh?"
