It was the talk of the school that Hestia Potter was last seen leaving the Slytherin Common Room that morning, everyone from the first years to the seventh, even the teachers and ghosts were talking about it. Many curiously craned their heads, trying to make out if the girl had any sort of marking or bruises on her neck. "I heard he like to mark up the girl he dates with the odd hickey and hand prints from choking." Said one Hufflepuff girl as Hestia walked past, "Maybe she has marks in places we cannot see?" Offered another, a ravenclaw girl who rather sheepishly hid her face when Hestia glanced at them. She wouldn't know anything about that, she thought bitterly to herself as she sat next to Hermione, Ron also wordlessly sat across them and started light conversation, he seemed to be trying to at least be on friendly terms, even sat with them on the train. Things were going smoothly till a 7th year stalked up to Hestia and slapped her across her head, with a hiss she lifted her head, obviously angry as her green eyes narrowed in annoyance. In front of her was a Slytherin prefect, she didn't know her name but she had seen the girl with Marcus before, the rumor was that they were dating. A scandal obviously since she was older, "YOU TOOK HIM AWAY FROM ME YOU BITCH!" She screamed at Hestia, she was hurling insult after insult till Hestia decided enough was enough and butted in, "Uhm, I'm sorry, but I have no idea who you are, I get you're probably Marcus's ex, but I really think it wasn't my fault he chose me." The girl sneered at her before looking at her neck and over the exposed nape of her skin, "I don't even know how you two are together if you aren't putting out for him." Hestia's jaw was tight now and her fingers flexed around the wand that was now in her hand, "What are you going to do little gi-" "Accio Marcus!" The girl was cut off by Hestia's spell as Marcus was pulled to her, he was half dressed, his shirt still unbuttoned halfway as he looked at Hestia worried. That's till he noticed the girl, "Alexa what's the issue here?" Alexa, looked at Hestia and Marcus, but before she could say anything to them, Hestia had pulled Marcus down to her height and kissed him soundly on the lips, enough to shock him, but long enough to give him time to recuperate and not make it look like their first kiss. Her palms were sticky with sweat as she wrapped her arms around his neck, feeling his one arm wove around her waist. After a total of two and a half minutes exactly the two separated, their cheeks red from the lack of breath and embarrassment. Turning to the girl Hestia levelled her gaze to hers, "Don't make me give you a more technical type of evidence next time yeah?"

"For fucks sake Hestia you two looked like you were going to shag!" Ron said with a laugh, Hestia hid behind her hair as Hermione chuckled lightheartedly, they both were pretty glad Ron was talking to them again, and the fact that Hestia's sneak-o-scope, a gift from Ron himself in second year, didn't go off in his presence meant that his actions were genuine. Ginny however still gave pointed and angry looks towards the trio and anyone else whom spent time with them and Marcus. "Can we not talk about it, I'm so embarrassed, I didn't even think that so many people would see me." Hermione closed her book and looked at Hestia with an 'Are you kidding me' face. "It was breakfast mind you Tia, everyone saw you." As the day went on everyone whom saw the three pointed and blushed as they waved at Hestia, and what didn't make it better, was her fiancé, all 6'3 inches of him, holding onto her hand like she'd get lost in a castle she'd grown up in. That afternoon was Slytherin's quidditch practice, Marcus didn't listen to his teammates nor Hestia's words of protests and deposited her, Hermione and Ron on the benches closest to the locker room so Marcus could hand her his things. Quidditch practices weren't exactly private unless there was an announcement that it was, so there was a lot of people on the bleachers. Many were Gryffindor girls whom were watching Hestia intently with wide smiles, it was creepy. After a while as the practice came to a close, Hestia realized why these girls came in droves, as soon as the boys were done with practice they pulled off their sweaty shirts and walked around the pitch making changes in their plays. Marcus however walked over to the trio's side of the pitch and asked for her to come down. After the three of them shared confused glances she hurried down the steps as he mounted his broom, asking her to make herself comfortable on the front end. Hestia looked at him worried, She knew brooms weren't very stable at times, heck she fell off herself many times even though she was an experienced flyer, but she trusted Marcus and she carefully sat at the front of th broom and Marcus kicked off flying into the air, Hestia's entire body relaxed, here she felt free, flying in sky, without anyone to worry her, except this time she had someone to share it with.

"Master, if we are to act, we need to act now while she least expects it." Lucius said to Voldemort as they listened to Draco's recount of the couple days events, stroking Nagini's head tentatively Voldemort nodded, "She is happiest now isn't she? What do you think would happen?...if she were to lose the people she cared about most? Such as those two boys she's seen with the most." Lucius stilled, he knew whom his Lord spoke off, but to kidnap them and torture them would mean death, Hestia protected them with her life, just like she cared for Hermione and Ron. "My lord surely you don't mean?" Voldemort smiled innocently, which only made his face look even more grotesque, "Of course I do Malfoy...make arrangements with the death eaters...at the next Hogsmeade trip I want the blood traitors Fred and George Weasley "
