I heard the jingling of keys in the door close, I picked up the TV remote and pause the show I was watching before turning around to see who it was. Who I saw was not who I expected it was I thought it would be a Ace, Tyler or Maya, instead it was Rebecca.
"Oh hello" she said cheerfully as she noticed me looking at her.
"Hi" I said with no emotion current in my voice. I believe Ace's but I still don't know what to think about this girl I've only seen her a few times and she always looks like a mess walking out of the house.
" is ace around?" She asked looking around the living room. I stood up and walked around the couch towards her.
"he's out" I said squinting my eyes at her trying to reach her. I'm not lying to her he's actually out even though he's not supposed be doing business he had something important come up so I told him to do it instead of tossing it for Tyler to do. " is there something I can help you with?" I asked her
"Oh, it's OK I just wanted to thank him for this morning.-" she said as she held up A sage green material clothing. " here's your shirt I'm sorry I borrowed it without asking." she handed me the shirt.
" thank you" I said smiling . She hasn't done anything for me to hater maybe I should actually get to know her especially since she's a friend of aces and I'll probably see her around more often. " would you like a glass of wine" I asked her inviting her to stay a little
" I actually have to go, just tell Ace I stopped by and I'm always available if he needs me" she said. The last part kind of confused me but I nodded my head anyways and watched as she left the living room towards the front door.
" Bella!" I heard a different voice call out as I heard the front door close. Not long after I saw Tyler appear " there you are" he said smiling
" hello Tyler" I said laughing a little before making my way towards the kitchen. " what can I do for you" I asked him " are you looking for Ace as well?"
" no?" He said confused as he followed me into the kitchen "Is that why Rebecca was here?" He asked me, I nodded my head yes as a response. "I thought he stop talking to her" he mumbled to himself, I just pretended I didn't hear as he wasn't directly telling me.
" anyways Ace told me to bring you this" he said holding up a pill bottle of gravel " oh and Maya told me to bring you this as well" he said now giving me another pill bottle of naproxen
" I understand the gravel but what's the naproxen for?" I asked confused
" your period?" he said looking at me strangely. my period? I do remember telling Myer to pick me up some naproxen a few nights ago as my period should've arrived by at my wedding. I quickly took my phone out of my pocket looking at the date, my periods a month lateBut I'm not too concerned as my doctor had told me I'm under weight which makes my period disappear for times.
" oh I don't need it" I said taking the gravel from him
" are you late?" He asked me
" yep but that's normal for me" I said struggling as I poured myself a glass of water.
" are you-" He started but I quickly cut him off as I opened up the lid of the gravel pulling out of pill
" no I went to the doctor a few days ago because I was throwing up and I had to go to my period, I took a pregnancy test and it came back negative" I explain to them not wanting to throw him into shock or for him to tell Maya or ace about it.
" OK anyways away from the girl talk" He said shivering a little bit probably because of all the. Talk. " what was Rebecca doing here?".
" I told you she was looking for Ace" I told him putting the pill in my mouth before taking a sip of my glass of water.
" why?" He asked narrowing his eyes at me.
" no idea-" I said shrugging placing my glass down on the counter and taking a seat spinning the chair to look at him "she was here last night and spent the night from what he told me and she was returning my shirt"
"that's bastard" he mumbled quietly.
"What?" I asked him confused
" nothing, I have to go by if you need anything or you're feeling sick I need to go to the doctors or something in ace isn't back just call me" he said before making his way out of the kitchen
" bye Tyler" I shut it out of the kitchen towards him.
" bye Bella" Heard him shout back before I heard the front door close
how many people have a key to the house, I understand Tyler and Maya and I guess Rebecca . But it gets annoying that people are just walking in the house Nelly dilly.
I picked up my phone and saw that Parker had finally text me back.
P- ' congratulations on getting married I am so sorry I wasn't there'
I quickly text him back ' it is totally OK, I understand.' I didn't take long before he responded.
P-' you need to visit it's honestly pretty cool here!'
I laughed at the text, Parker knew I always wanted to go to New York but I never had the funds or money to. ' i'll definitely be coming to see you soon!' I texted back before exiting our chat and going to mine and aces.
click the call button and waited for him to answer, after a few rings he did. " hey are you coming home soon?" I asked him as he has been gone for three hours now
There was a sound of shuffling and wrestling of papers before he responded " yeah I'm just sign in the last few things"
" OK oh and just so you know Rebecca came by to say thank you for last night and said something about she's around if you need her" I told him waiting for a response . There was some sound before when completely silence for a moment before he finally did respond.
" was that it?"something about his voice kind of sounded stressed and worried I guess.
" yep" I told him waiting for him to continue
" OK I'll be home in 30 minutes" he told me before hanging up the phone didn't even wait for me to say goodbye. Sometimes he can be an asshole
