ACES POV

"It's been 3 days she should be awake" I basically yelled at the doctor. It's been three days not including the day she came in. She should be awake by now. They told me she would be awake by now and she's not.

" Mr. King" the nurse started

I looked at the nurse and scoffed" no offense, but I'm not talking to you" I yelled at the nurse turned back around to look at the doctor " why isn't she awake" I asked, trying to keep my voice down as Scarlet was sleeping. Her name is officially Scarlet because I refused to do the birth certificate until Isabella wakes up but I know that Isabella's going to pick Scarlet for the first name so that's what we've been calling her.

" it's normal, medical induced comas normally only last two weeks she'll wake up I promise" the doctor said reaching her hand out to me

" just fucking wake her up!!!" I yelled a little too loudly as Scarlet started crying. I let out of breath of air before walking towards my mom who was holding Scarlet. I picked Scarlet up and started rocking her back-and-forth trying to soothe her. "shhhh it's OK" I said, trying to soothe her

I looked up at the doctor as she made her way out of the room " I'm sorry" I called out to her. It was wrong of me to yell at her. It's not her fault.

" it's OK I completely understand" she said, sending me a smile before walking out of the room closing the door behind her. I look back down at Scarlet to see that she had finally settled down, but she was still awake.

" are you OK?" my mom asked me I can't stop at her before looking back at Scarlet

" I just want her to wake up" I mumbled quietly as I held out my finger for Scarlet to grab onto.

" i know baby" my mom said, placing your hand on my shoulder, giving it a squeeze. I heard the door open, I turned around to see my father and Tyler standing there.

" we got the car seat in the car" Tyler said. Scarlet has the AOK to go home so I am taking her back to mine and Taylor's condo here that was mainly for business but I don't feel comfortable taking Scarlet all the way back home while leaving her mother in New York.

Knowing Isabella, she would probably kill me if she woke up and her baby was in California while she's here. " thank you." I mumbled smiling at Scarlet as she tried to chew my finger.

"Ouuu she's awake!" I heard my little sister shout as she ran into the room. She didn't even give me a moment before basically ripping Scarlet out of my arms and walking towards the chairs in the corner of the room.

" Jesus, be careful" I told her

" oh, stop being so dramatic" Anna said to me, rolling her eyes as she played with Scarlet making weird faces.

" any news" my father asked me as he stood next to Isabella. he looks at her like a second daughter, even though they had a rough start, and he basically hated her at the beginning, he really pulled through for the past nine months with her.

" nothing" I said, as I rubbed my eyes because I had barely got any sleep with staying here all night waiting for Isabella to wake up and taking care of Scarlet which is a hassle.

" you should go home" I heard Anna from the corner of the room. I looked at her like she was crazy.

" what?"

" she's serious dude" Tyler said, standing next to me as he looked over at Isabella " you've been here with no sleep for the past four nights" he started, and then looked at me " go home you need to sleep"

"I-I can't" I stuttered not sure what to say.

" you can, and you will" my mother told me.

" mom" I started, but she cut me off with one of her stern looks that she gives me.

" I'm not kidding go home and shower and then you can come back" she said she pushed me towards the door of the hospital room. " you stink."

I rolled my eyes at her comment before finally agree I know that I can't get stop her or persuade her otherwise " I'll come with you" Tyler said, as we wrap his arm around my shoulder as we went towards the exit

Everything's past few days has been a blur learning how to deal with a baby on my own with a little bit of help from the doctor and the nurses and my mother, of course. Stressing over the fact that Isabella's not awake yet and how I'm going to do this without her at least until she wakes up. I haven't even gotten any sleep I slept maybe an hour every night that's about it

" take a nap. I'll wake you up and we're at the house" yeah Tyler said as we got into the car and he started the engine.

I didn't reply I just cleaned my head against the window of the car . I didn't take me long before I was out like a light.

I woke up to Tyler, shaking me " we're here" he told me. It honestly felt like I had slept for less than five minutes but I know I slept longer than that because we live a half hour away from the hospital.

Immediately push past him and ran in To the condo I was in a rush to get cleaned, dressed and back to the hospital being away from Isabella. Let alone Scarlet made my heart ache.

" I'm gonna wait in the living room" Tyler said as he close the door behind me as I had left it open when I ran through it. I didn't respond. I just went upstairs to the bathroom connected to my bedroom and immediately hopped into the shower after I'm dressing.

Feeling the warm water run along my body honestly made me feel more relaxed that I had felt this whole week. Knowing Isabella is fine and we have a kid together and just a break from all the divorce papers and stuff makes me feel so much calmer than I felt in a while. I know everything is going to be OK. I know she's going to be OK and I know Scarlet is going to be perfectly fine.

All we have to do is wait. She'll be fine. She'll be fine.
